Brand new, sealed in the box, with a Dell warranty—plus it comes with the keyboard and pen. Dell sells it for $1,800, but I got it for $1,199.99. Dell factory 2.5 Year Direct Warranty is not available unless you are able to tell them who is the former owner. I love the laptop easy setup, it's light weight, and fairly responsive. On May 12, 2025 (67 days after my purchase) the computer stuck in the restarting mode. I called Dell gave them my service tag number the service technician refused to talk to me saying I was not the registered owner of the laptop. It is owned by the federal government. I was completely upset, calling Amazon Customer Service, after 20 minutes on the phone Amazon offered me refund and gave me seven days to return the laptop. I had personal information and programs on this laptop and no way to do a factory reset. I decided it was necessary to remove and wipe the hard drive. I was finally able to download a copy of owners manual. The solution to the problem was somewhat easy. AND it would have taken their service tech less than 60 seconds tell me the solution to try. . I followed the instructions in the user manual in five minutes lifted off the screen removed the hard drive and accidently stumbled upon the solution to the "stuck restarting" problem. I inserted the hard drive again and the computer booted up correctly. I still need a solution to my warranty problem. Dell records indicate the computer is owned by the federal government, although I try to change ownership Dell keeps telling me no warranty. I finally found the seller of the laptop, Refurbconnect. I called and they explained the issue. The computers were purchased in bulk and seller assured them that all the computers were registered as sold. Apparently the original seller was wrong about the title transfer of all the machines. The Refurbconnect representative assured that they are working to correct the warranty problem. Read more

Initial Review: Delivered next day air, appears brand new but may have been taken out of the box and put back. Was able to register warranty. Nice thing about this model is that you can replace battery and hard drive as opposed to Microsoft Surface and Apple products. (Reinforces the point that products can be made to be repaired and upgraded even if thin and light.). Windows 11 Pro is a nice to have. Great price. Note: A Windows update stopped speakers from work.
