Got this for my dad as he’s moving back to the northeast after living in Florida for 35 years. He’s 75, very skinny and always cold, so I was specifically looking for a down filled coat to keep him warm. I have a problem with this coat being advertised as a “down coat” if there is no down fill in it at all. I read in the description that it was made of polyester but it didn’t specify what the fiberfill was made of, so I assumed since it was titled “warm down coat” that it would have some feathers and down inside, but it doesn’t. Still, I do like the look of the coat, and it does seem very well made, durable, and impervious to wind and moisture. Down or not, it’s a really good value for the price. It remains to be seen how warm it will be, but for such a low price, it’s still worth it to me to buy a slim lightweight down jacket that he can layer under this. Read more

What can you complain about when it only cost $21? I got the right color, 2 sleeves, no holes, and the zipper works. Stitching and quality on par with a $50-75 jacket, not great..but still great value. My only real gripe is how ridiculously wrinkly it came...vacuum packed as flat a pancake in double plastic bags, occupying the footprint of a large magazine. So wrinkled and creased that i doubt it will come out with regular wear. Maybe a spin in the washer and dryer will do the trick. Oh, i neglect to mention, as other reviewers have mentioned, it is a size too large. If you're a Gap large, get the medium. Read more
