Once I opened the package, it looks like the package was opened before and repacked it.As per the instruction manual,I have to remove the plastic from the filter before starting the unit.But there was no plastic cover in the filter and the inner layer of filter is deformed. Next, when I connect the power supply and push the ON button, it is not getting ON. After about a month of usage, I'm impressed by this air filter. The air quality monitor is surprisingly sensitive to particulates from cooking food, opening a door or window to the outdoors (the air quality in Dubai is often poor), pet hair and dander, and other sources. As the indoor air quality deteriorates, the filter's fan kicks into a higher speed until better air quality is restored. These temporary bursts of larger volume of air filtration are the only times the filter does not operate quietly.
