I have very fine, silky staticky hair that I always dyed to give some texture. I had been doing highlights for years that was showing the damage and my hair was thinning a lot. So I decided to go back to as close as my natural brown and give my hair a break from bleach. It did not seem to do more damage which is a major plus for me and the color is natural looking. However, if you have a lot of grays, you must have to leave it on a lot longer than the directions say. I just have a few right now which I don’t care to cover but it made the gray a brassy color until it faded out completely after some washes. This is amazing! I am trying to grow out my gray without looking like everyone did during the pandemic ;). This is perfect to get me through tbut he awkward look without thwarting the process. Through a series of mishaps my brown/gray hair had turned orange and this covered that completely and I am so happy. I know it will wash out in a few weeks or months but until all my hair is its natural color, this will save the day. I am shocked at how well it is covering the orange. Just a warning however - I have short hair, not even to my shoulders, but thick hair, and one bottle was barely enough. So if you have even shoulder length hair, I would buy two bottles.
