While I don't use this roller for tobacco, I did find it exceptional great at rolling legal joints. It is fully set up out of the box and using it is simple. 1. Open the roller. 2. Add your herb. 3. Close the roller and turn the top. 4. Feed your paper through the paper feeder slot by turning the roller and pick the adhesive before it goes in (adhesive side should feel last). 5. This is a very difficult product for me to review for several reasons. First, let me say there isn't anything flimsy about it - and it is fairly heavy - I will say it appears to be of good quality. I ordered this to use for non-typical reasons - not for tobacco or marijuana. In addition I have no experience with cigarette rollers. The box it came in did not have a directions sheet included. I ordered this product to roll mullein "cigarettes" - for my own reasons, one of which was to help me quit with tobacco cigarettes. ( I grow and dry my own mullein so it's high quality with no stems and such, which means it's also very flufffy. It is possible the fluffiness is why I have had poor results. I asked for help from someone who is familiary with these rollers and they had no better luck that I did. It LOOKED okay at first glance but wasn't packed tight enough. When I saw this FXTNKYY Brass Retro Cigarette Rolling Machine, my eco-friendly heart did a little leap and I couldn't wait to try it! This is a lovely, well-designed and hefty little manual rolling machine that rolls perfect, cigarette-size cylinders of your favorite smoking material! I love the unique retro style and polished brass finish. I personally use it for rolling legal (in my area) cannabis joints, and this machine makes pretty thick ones! The only challenge for me is that I like to use non-bleached paper filters when rolling my herb, and the filters I usually purchase in quantity are too thin (6 mm) for this machine to be effective. So far, I've only been able to find cotton cigarette filters in the proper 8 mm size, which wouldn't work for my purposes, or pads of pre-cut roll-em-yourself filter papers that I haven't felt motivated to try yet. But the machine itself is glorious! Mine didn't come with directions, but there are clear directions posted on the product page that a quick screen shot will solve. This FXTNKYY Brass Retro Cigarette Rolling Machine does come with a cleaning brush and is tucked inside a nice box suitable for gifting. Definitely recommend! Read more
