Playstore'dan indirdiğim Kodi 21.1 sürümü bir TV'de ilk kez 4K 59.94 Hz yani 1080p üzeri çözünürlük gösterdiğini belirtti. Yani donanım olarak Google TV Streamer çok güçlü. Samsung TV'mi kurulum esnasında tanıdı. Hem samsung TV hem de kendi orjinal kumandası ile cihazı kullanabiliyorum. Upgraded from a chromecast, to take advantage of the ethernet interface. It works great and is rock solid. I have a TP-Link Deco wifi 7 mesh network with a 2.5gb ethernet backhaul, and connected the Google TV Streamer to a Deco ethernet port. Unfortunately the Deco default installation routed from the ethernet to wifi, so casting to the Streamer from wifi didn't work. Fortunately it was surprisingly easy to convert the Deco mesh to "AP" (bridged) mode, and now casting works perfectly from all ethernet and wifi connected devices. Anyway, if you use the Streamer's ethernet interface, make _sure_ it's on the same (bridged) IP network as your wifi, or casting will not work. Streaming over the ethernet is solid - I have seen no stutters or delays that I did see occasionally with the chromecast on wifi. I control everything (Streamer, Samsung TV, Verizon cable, and external audio amp) with my sofabaton u2. It doesn't have named support for the "Google TV Streamer" yet, but its "Chromecast" support works fine. My stereo amp is connected to my Samsung TV's optical output, and I have no audio problems with the Streamer as input. It's a solid system, and a worthwhile upgrade. Read more

By all means, if you DON'T HAVE an android TV box, then this is nice. But if you do have and it works well, then skip this one. Cons: Your screen is constant advertisement to buy YouTube subscription, rent Google movies, subscribe to this and that. The hdmi control doesn't work with a Qled Samsung TV. The Samsung TV universal smart remote doesn't work on this one. You can turn off the adverts by going to account and switch to Apps only, and you end up with a stock android interface WITH advertisement to buy the YouTube subscription. I have had so many streaming box it's not even funny. I've been switching to the Google eco system with the Google Chromecast with TV and those are my default players I'd recommend. When this was announced I was so excited, it is a slight improvement in performance. The box is slick and very aesthetistically pleasing so you can leave it on a counter top. It has ample storage so that's fantastic. Built in ethernet port so more stuttering. The only bad thing was, why did it not come with a HDMI cable? What cheapskates at Google! One of the best feature is the find my remote, now you will never lose your remote again! Is this the best streamer money can buy? No, but it is the best one in this price range! Read more

I "cut the cord" and switched from cable to streaming services several years ago. I chose to use the Google Chromecast with Google TV ("GCwGTV" ... HORRIBLE name). I have several of those. They worked great and still do. The Google TV Streamer 4K ("GTVS" ... slightly less horrible name) is a nice upgrade! The GTVS is noticeably faster and has the added benefit of a built-in ethernet port. I had a USB hub with an ethernet port connected to the GCwGTV that this replaced so it's nice that it is now built-in. It's a much larger device than the GCwGTV and now needs an HDMI cable to connect to the TV (mine is connected to a Denon receiver). Prior, the GCwGTV was hidden at the back of the receiver and had an HDMI plug built-in. This one is too large for that so it sits on display. It doesn't look too bad but the white is very jarring with everything around it being black. Wish Google would make a black version of this. (The hazel version was not available when I ordered the white version.) I was hoping Google would fix the issue with these devices controlling the power of other devices through the HDMI CEC protocol. It becomes out-of-sync with the TV and receiver so pushing the power button on the GTVS turns on the TV and receiver but turns off the streamer - or vice-versa. This is annoying and it is difficult to get the devices to become synchronized again. That is the reason for taking off one star. It's the only major issue I experienced with the GCwGTV and still experience with the GTVS. If you don't use CEC then this is moot. Read more

Bought this with high hopes. I have tried to get out of the apple ecosystem and saw this streamer come out from Google. I know the chromecast didn't have great reviews but this box was supposed to fix alot of the problems it had. Let me start with how this box feels like 2010 tech. Why google can't keep up with other brands in hardware blows my mind. The picture quality was out of the box the most finicky I have ever had. Dolby picture will randomly flash a pink color while watching Dolby vision movies. I have used a roku and a apple 4k tv box and they both destroy google in every aspect. The UI on the google box is great but it just doesn't work at the same level of apple and even roku. Very upset with this purchase. I would not recommend to anyone regardless of your ecosystem. This TV streamer works very well! First off, the device itself feels nicely made and doesn't feel cheap. It is small and compact enough that it won't take up a lot of space and fits in nicely with my decor. I really like the overall design and color. It looks and feels premium. It is very easy to setup and it includes just about everything you need to get going. It comes with a very nice remote and uses 2 AAA batteries (which are included). It does not come with an HDMI cable which is required to use it. Once plugged in, it guides you through the setup on screen. Just follow the prompts. This off course, does run official Android Software and you have access to the Android TV store. It is also possible to sideload other apps, if you wish. I really like the official Android TV Software and it's overall design and functionality. I've used this with all the major streaming apps and had no issues streaming 4K and full HD video where available. It does play 4K video without any stuttering or freezing (just make sure your internet can handle it). I played a few games on it and it handled it well. I would not play any graphics intense games unless you do it through a cloud service. All of the games in the store should be just fine. There is no lag that I noticed while using this and switching between apps. It's quick and snappy and can handle a good bit of apps and games with it's built in storage. It is possible to add more storage via the USB-C port with a hub if you need to. All things considered, I really like this TV Streamer and it is quite powerful for the price. It is a nice, cheaper alternative to some of the more expensive boxes out there and I really like it! I will be getting more of them! Read more

I just setup my new Google Streamer , simply because my Samsung TV os sucks . The actual streamer has a smaller footprint than I expected which is actually a plus . You will need a hdmi cable as this doesn’t come with it . And setup is no harder than any streamer . Would recommend getting it setup through the Google home app as it saves a lot of time . The setup pretty much takes about 15 minutes from setup to updates completing . If you are familiar with Google tv OS then it’s pretty easy to navigate. The remote is longer and has some texture , feels nicer than then the previous remote . Biggest difference on remote from previous 4k Google chromecast is a longer remote , the volume buttons are on the front instead of the side , and it has a program button that allows you to shortcut a fave app, or Google home button to control smart devices . Or just to swap inputs . It has Dolby Atmos ,Dolby vision so if you have that setup it sounds great . I have Google home controlling my Phillips hue lights and nest thermostat . It’s nice to be able to do that right from the Home Screen . It is much snappier & quicker response than previous chronecast 4k with remote . Zipping through menus, selecting apps and programs is much quicker than my Samsung tv os sucks. Thread border router functionality makes communication with my smart devices simple . WiFi speeds are decent & it does have an Ethernet port for even more stable connection The streamer has 32gb of onboard storage which is more than enough for me . It also has a remote finder button on back of device to help you locate that missing remote . Picture quality is excellent as well . Setting up apps is quick as far as sign in as well. Is it better than Apple TV 4K or nvidia streamer ? No but it also is $30-$50 less. Overall initial impressions are it’s great , and over time I expect it has more functionality with updates etc . It does have some AI functionality in generating screensavers , but as of now that’s more a cool thing to try at 1st , then you will probably get over it . Read more
