This is a great if you want a compact scale for coffee pour overs or timing and weighing your espresso shots directly under the porta filter. The dimensions are 104.5 x104.5 x 18.5 mm with touch sensitive control buttons with the time and weight displays built into the lower part of the weighing platform. This means that the scale won’t be useful for weighing anything over 4 inches in diameter. There is also a mechanical on/off switch on the right side of the scale. The capacitive touch sensitive switches work well though there’s no touch feedback only a quick beep when pressed. There’s also a very slight delay when you tare the scale for example. They recommend not to use the scale when plugged in (recharging) and to keep it away from water which is always a risk when making coffee. In addition to manual time and weight there are several additional special functions which involve a lot of special tapping of the buttons to invoke these functions including the auto timer mode, the ratio mode or the water flow speed mode. The directions are actually well written. I checked this scale with a 50 g calibration weight and found it was accurate within 0.1 g. The scale stabilizes well since it has an auto zero function but it won’t detect slow weight changes of less than about 0.3 g due to evaporation or the slow addition of very small amounts of coffee such as a single coffee bean. This is a typical feature or glitch of household scales. Keep in mind as well that this seems to be a “white label” product which is offered by several sellers with their own branding which is okay but doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence. Read more

This scale is a pleasure to use. The response time is super fast, it is nice and small and fits in my espresso machine, and has a lot of cool features. Perfectly sized and functional for our purposes in the kitchen to weigh and portion food sizes for our food prep. This scale is convenient and has the build quality to last a long time. My favorite part is no more batteries, it is fully rechargeable. As far as accuracy, it has served our purposes, but we haven’t yet tested +/- of how accurate it is. Good buy for the price. Read more
