Bought these for a concert to get some extra height. These are a little heavy overall but they are comfortable and have a good platform with just a slight lift. The look is great - someone wearing platform Converse next to me said we were "shoe twins" and she liked the black stripes. I first tried my regular size which was just a bit too small so I actually measured my feet like the listing suggests. When I measured I was closely between sizes so I went up a full size (rather than half size). They fit a little loose but I added gel inserts which gave me extra cushion and cinched the laces, they fit great. I walked a lot on concert day and stood for hours - no complaints! Read more
