This is a world class knife. I'm not a professional chef, nor a knife expert per se, but this knife doesn't just scream quality, it bellows it whilst shaking you roughly by the shoulders and at the same time slamming your head repeatedly into the wall. So, stuff you may want to know. I judge a knife by 4 main criteria, sharpness, comfort, design and quality. 1. Sharpness - As others have said, this knife is extremely sharp out of the box and makes short work of even the most dense of vegetables, butternut squash. 2. Comfort - This was probably my biggest concern as i find many top end knives uncomfortable to use. The handle however has a good shape and balance and despite being a big knife, feels easy to use. 3. Design - I was prepared to be a little disappointed by this knife, as the pictures of it look a little too good to be true. Fortunately, it looks even better in the hand. The attention to detail is astonishing, from the angled butt, to the engraving on the blade and handle. Even the polishing of the knife is perfect. I read in one review of Dalstrong Knives that one customer received a knife with an unpolished handle and the owner himself called to apologise and put it right. 4. Quality - This knife feels amazingly well built, from the materials used to the finish of each component. I've seen many great looking knives that feel cheap or blunt quickly, or even worse, break. Whilst it's early days, I have no doubt that I'll have this knife for the rest of my life. Overall, i cannot praise this knife highly enough. The attention to detail is apparent in everything and the packaging is beautiful. As a gift, this knife would be welcomed by anyone that received it. I plan on saving up and buying the paring, boning and Santoku knives and replacing the Global versions I have of those. Read more

Le couteau est beau et semble solide. Finition correcte, bien emballé. Le tranchant est top. A voir dans le temps.
