I got these for their discreetness and am overall very pleased. I was using translating earbuds but sometimes it created the impression I was not listening or possibly distracted. These solved that problem and work just as good. They sync with your phone via Bluethooth, like eadbuds, and the App works similarly. These lenses do not do anything, but the speaker and mic are in the arms of the frame, so you can hear easily and it can pickup voice commands.
