UPDATE: Had a call with Klein Tools and apparently the instructions included with the tool are incorrect and the red light is supposed to stay lit when operating normally. Changing my review to 4 stars as I have not used it yet and the case we received was has a broken piece of plastic that keeps the clasp connected to the case. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Have received two units so far and both have the same problem. The excessive tilt light will not go out and I am not confident the unit will function properly in the field. I have insured the units are completely level using the bubble level on the tripod as well as other levels. I have placed units on countertop and tables that I know our level and have double checked that our level. I don’t know what’s wrong with these 93 RLS. The QR code shows 1224 AF – A1. This is the same on both unit units. Perhaps clean tools has a bad lot with the 93 RLS. Read more

Super nice unit.. well worth the money. Feels well made when you grab it, solid weight, rubberized handle with hard resin plastic. 2 diff mounting holes. USB-C rechargeable which is really nice instead of batteries. Hand held detector has a tiny level at the top. Very helpful and user friendly. The tripod also has a level. This Klein laser is very nice. Very happy with the purchase and would recommend if you’re in the market. Made in USA. I’ve used the Bosch rotary laser but this Klein is just very quality made.
