This is a really nice sturdy metal RGB stand. I know it's intended more for a gaming setup, but I just happened to be looking for a monitor stand for my HP all in one desktop and this one fit the bill perfectly. It came in a pretty flashy looking Razer packaging and included a USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the onboard hub with a laptop. First thing I noticed was the solid metal build which gives me a good bit of confidence this can hold a bit of weight without issue. It's super minimal in appearance and has a nice black matte finish. The stand has a built-in hub as mentioned with USB-C and HDMI ports on the back, HDMI, USB-C, and USB-A ports on the side, giving it a very streamlined and professional appearance. The hub worked without issue, and I got pretty decent transfer speeds with a thumb drive. I don't currently have the need for an additional external monitor, but I tried the hub's HDMI on the side, and it worked fine. No issues with bandwidth or other stuttering. If you're using Windows 11, it will automatically download an installer for the stand that will allow you to choose various programs in Razer's lineup including Synapse and Chroma. Synapse for those unfamiliar is more to manage your various Razer devices and Chroma for controlling RGB. Chroma has various lighting modes available which I have shown in the pics as well as offering further customization and a visualizer if you'd like to setup the stand's lighting with music. I did try it out with a Linux box but was disappointed to find that OpenRazer and others like Polychromatic doesn't support this stand. However, I understand with many mainstream devices like this one, this issue isn't all that uncommon. Fortunately, those in a similar boat are still able to control the lighting by pressing the power button to cycle through. You just won't have the visualizer or other customizations. Overall, this stand brings a lot to the table. Compared with other options this stand admitting is expensive. However, if you're a Razer fan that enjoys RGB, Razer products, or someone who just likes the sleek appearance with optional lighting, this makes a great accessory to add to your line-up. Read more

So I'm not going to say it's bad quality as it isn't it's very good quality. The thing is though because it has the razer brand name stamped on it. It means it's pretty expensive for what it is. Which is a dock with a height added to it. It definitely easily holds the weight stated(i'd argue a bit more to be honest but I'd not push it frankly). It's just that it's fairly expensive as well but some people really do enjoy razer's quality/brand as it is known to be very high quality. All the ports and everything worked well and had a nice secure feeling when putting cables into them but I'll say I'm just surprised by the price for it. Read more

I gave this five stars, but I’m gonna give a solid critique here because this should really come with its own cord and I shouldn’t have to go hunt one down just to plug it into my computer. It is solid built stand, and can definitely handle the weight of my more than 70 pound monitor. It can also handle the weight of a back up battery sitting on top, which is also quite heavy. When you plug it in with a USB-C to USB you can have the color integrated with your computer. So for those of you who like to see specific colors, there’s an app that you can adjust the colors so that your other peripherals will match with this stand. When I say it’s well built, I’m serious. It’s well built. There’s even little soft pads on the bottom so if you have a wood desk or a dust that scratches easily it won’t scratch just in case I put a mat so that it doesn’t scratch. There are two ports that you can use to plug-in. One is the USB-C and one is a regular USB. I opted to use the USB-C as that’s the cable I had. Once I plugged it in it automatically prompted to install program to adjust the colors of the lights. I like how I know my computer is definitely on and awake with these lights on. What’s nice as I can also put a small Mac underneath the stand and I hide a KVM switch and all the cables behind it so it looks nice and clean. Read more

first and foremost - it's expensive. Would I have spent my own money to buy this? No. Do I think it's worth it? No. Do I like it though? yeah it's pretty nice. Things I like: > The monitor stand is hefty and strong, made of solid aluminum, it shouldn't have any problem holding your monitor. It definitely has a premium fit and finish > The RGB is cool and does give a nice underglow. I especially like having the light react to what the bottom of my monitor is showing to provide that ambient immersion. I dont have a gaming laptop. My desktop has limited USB C ports, yet the USB cable it comes with is C to C. I had to dig up a USB C to A adapter to plug it into my preferred port. Also, the C to C cable is pretty short. Maybe 3 feet? That definitely makes me think this is for laptop owners who will put their laptop underneath the stand or something. I have a tower on the floor with a sit/stand table so I'd need pretty long cables for this to work for me. Thankfully I already have a separate hub on my desk to account for that. Bottom line Basically, you can get a nice aluminum monitor stand with RGB + a fairly standard USB C hub and have all the features this stand provides AND you'd have saved a lot of money. Maybe this is for the super Razer fanboys out there but I just can't see how this could be worth $200. And this is coming from someone who owns multiple razer products (Kiyo Pro and Viper Ultimate, Blackshark V1). There's an AD for this by some rando that says this stand "changed his life". This stand isn't changing anyone's life. I think a reasonable price for this would be $100 which would include the Razer brand tax. Read more

Finally, a black aluminum stand that supports a Thunderbolt monitor without bending from the weight. I've been looking for something like this for a while, specifically an aluminum riser in black to match the aesthetics of my Apple desk setup that won't bend under the weight. It's weird how hard this is to find. And while this one is really expensive, it works. Plus, the LED lights underneath and extra ports on the side are a nice touch.
