Very nice keycaps! Love the look and the design on these. Colors shine through great and really show the lightning look. Love that the print is on the front side so you know what key you are pressing but without having to worry about it wearing off in time. Keys sound good and are not to slick to type on. The keys sound and feel like PBT keycaps, but I've never heard of the IMD technology bit. The keycaps themselves feel of good quality. The specific one I got- the white spider web- does NOT have textured keys at all, which I am personally quite happy for since I am not much of a keyboard gamer these days. Light shine-through on the spider web design on the keycaps really well, but do not shine through on the black print south facing legends. The legends themselves look super clean and legible and them being south-facing means they are less prone to wear even if not doubleshot. Black font legends on white keycaps can't really go wrong. The legends even look good in the dark too. For the value, I'd say this is quite nice on a budget if the RGB spiderweb is your thing and you want those legends visible in the dark. Read more

I'm not a hardcore keyboard enthusiast so take all this with a grain of salt, but I think these keycaps are pretty great. I replaced my old the caps on my keychron C2 with these and it feels so much nicer. The keyboard only has white lights, but the effect is still quite nice. It doesn't work as well on the larger keys and especially not the spacebar, but that's due to the single light coming from the middle switch. Also, the function and right windows keys are swapped on my Keychron vs the keys in this set, but since the key indication is on the side, it's not a big deal. Aside from that no real complaints. These are a very good option if you're looking for shine through keycaps. I'm specifically reviewing the white spiderweb colorway, installed on a Yunzii IF99 with the stock Gateron x Yunzii Zero switches. Allow me to break down my experience and opinions though. Fit: 4.5/5, slightly looser than some but still snug. Finish: 5/5, even sizing, clean molding, design and text layers are lined up and clear. Quality materials used. Legibility: 5/5, black text over white/translucent is visible in all light conditions. Comfort: 5/5, OEM profile combined with satin finish locks fingers in without feeling scratchy or uncomfortable. Compatibility: 4/5, 7u and split spacebar options would be appreciated but pretty much all other bases are covered. Shine-through: 5/5, I recommend turning brightness down with the white variants of these due to how much RGB they eat. The pattern remains visible, but the whole caps glow vibrantly. Value: 5/5, these are priced appropriately for the quality. Read more

I'm reviewing the white spider web keycaps. Mechanically, the keycaps are high quality. They fit securely on the switch stems, and have what I'd consider to be fairly conventional "OEM" profile. Aesthetically, they're kind of a mixed bag. The translucent "web effect" is nice. HOWEVER, f you're using the keycaps on switches with "north facing" LEDs, the illumination is pretty underwhelming. I suppose a small amount of light is able to glow through the white portion of the keycaps... but the room has to be almost pitch black to really notice anything glowing through the keycap (as opposed to reflecting up from underneath the keycap and diffusing upward through the voids). TBH, the glow you see in the photo isn't NEARLY as visible to the naked eye as it is in the photo... I think some of the glow visible in the photo is an AI-exaggerated artifact created by the phone's camera software. Likewise, with north-facing LEDs, the front-printed black legends on the fronts of the keycaps are effectively illegible in darkness. For what it's worth, the set lacks a 'Home' key suitable for use on row 2 (to the immediate right of the Enter key on a NuPhy Air75v2). I ended up having to use a '1' keycap because it was the only R2 keycap in the set that wouldn't have been thoroughly confusing. The lack of a R2 "Home" keycap isn't unique to this set, but other keycap sets I've reviewed included an extra R2 keycap with some generic legend that was vague, without being misleading. IMHO, using a '1' keycap for home is very non-optimal. I think that these keycaps would be great for someone who REALLY wants white keys. Personally, I think they'd look a lot better & more dramatic in black. I also think they'd look a lot better when used on a keyboard with SOUTH-facing LEDs. Read more
