I wanted to share my experience with the RANVOO AICE LITE Plus 2025 neck air conditioner, which I recently purchased to help with excessive sweating during the hot summer months. In the past, I've tried other neck fans, but they unfortunately just circulated warm air. I also found that while some models with built-in AC cooled my neck, they still blew out warm air, which wasn't very effective overall. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the RANVOO AICE LITE Plus 2025. The air it circulates is noticeably cooler, providing instant relief from the heat. Ok, so I have previously given this 1 star rating, but have decided to change that, as I have a better understanding of how this works, and how to apply it to my daily life. So about the battery, previously I ran it at it's highest cooling and fan speed settling of 3, which did drain the battery fast, well lowered the fan speed, kept the cooling up and it lasting longer. Something I didn't include was While working I ran a charge cable from it a pocket sized portable charger in my back pocket, ran under my shirt, and I run it for 6 hours and 47 mins( 20000 Mah charger) and the unit still had full battery, with my charger being down to 15%, with the fan and cooling set to it's highest setting of 3. So that being said with a charger it will extend It's use time drastically. I've learned that It's cooling effect is more directed at the neck, and the most important to cool in hot situations. I believe my expectation were set a bit to high for this, However I would love to see products like these improve more. Who knows, maybe one day we will get a product that can actually dish out Super cold air along with the cold plates. This one uses the cooling plates to cool down the skin, and fans to move air. I'll give it 5 stars because this company took a chance to improve personal cooling in harsh condition, and went a step further than just creating a fan. They added a cooling element to it, and with more time I'm sure products like this will get better as this is still pretty new tech, and they release firmware updates to improve its performance . I got the device yesterday evening delivered from the US to here in Hong Kong a day earlier than initially provided – which was already a very welcome positive surprise! Just two days ago, the weather suddenly turned hot (30–33°C) and extremely humid (85%) — which is a real struggle for me, since I was born in a colder country. I sweat a lot without any aid (which is very uncomfortable), and my old cooling fan from China was barely able to provide much relief (well… it has 3 small Peltier elements but also cost only around 40 USD). So I went on Amazon to look for something better, and I found this product. It claimed to be a “personal air conditioner,” and to be honest, I was skeptical. But with a trip coming up and since they offered free returns — I figured it was worth giving it a try. And the verdict? It turned out to be an absolute lifesaver for anyone trying to survive in hot and humid conditions. There is NO comparison to any of the cheap devices out there (often without Peltier elements and just a fan) — this is a completely different league. if you like its like a Mercedes Maybach compared to a small middle class car.... Last night I went out to test the Ranvoo. It's lighter than I thought and no problem to wear at all. I was worried the collar of my polo shirt might block the air intake at the back, but there was no issue at all. The device actually performs better than I expected. I was out for 2 hours, walking both uphill and downhill. I brought along a 20,000 mAh Anker external battery to test how the Ranvoo handles operation while charging. Contrary to what I’d read, there was no drop in airflow power. It worked just the same with or without the external battery. What really impressed me is that it can run AND charge at the same time. After 1.5 hours on full cooling (C3, 16°C), the internal battery was down to about 50%. With the external battery plugged in, it continued working at 100% performance and recharged back to 75% in just half an hour. Honestly that is very impressive! In terms of cooling effect: under 33°C with normal humidity, it performs flawlessly. In high humidity, of course it can't eliminate the moisture in the air — but it still provides a strong and noticeable cooling effect. After 2 hours outside in this hot and steamy weather, it felt like being in 25°C with 75% humidity — which, for me, is still an acceptable and comfortable condition. Also worth noting: it’s quieter than expected, and overall just much better built and designed than anything else I’ve tried. So, is it worth the money? For me, absolutely yes. When you’re dealing with extreme weather day after day and still have to be outside, this isn’t just a gadget — it’s an essential comfort tool, Honestly, my only regret is not buying it sooner. I have purchased 5 different neck fans within the past month for my family and had to return a couple that blew air directly into your ears instead of on your neck. One of the others was a cheap model but had the best airflow out of the bunch and blew cool air directly onto your neck. Had poor construction, but works well and my daughter likes it a lot. The fan I bought for my son has cooling plates on the front of the device with a fan that blows air on the back of your neck. I personally don't like the angle that the cooling plates grab your neck as it can feel a bit tight, and the airflow is not great despite having two fans and a vent port that is substantially smaller than other neck fans that blow air along the sides. It's a good device though. The reason I'm tellling you all of this is so that you know I have experience with different types of neck fans and have tested enough of them to be able to say what works and what doesn't. When I purchased the RANVOO AICE LITE Plus 2025 version, it was going to be for my wife and I. My kids will break or lose theirs and so I didn't want to dish out too much money for them, however, for my wife and I, I wanted something that worked really well. The price of this neck fan was a bit out of my comfort zone, and so I purchased one for my wife and I to share. After using the device for the first time, I was in absolute shock and awe. This device is the Rolls Royce of neck fans (and it can warm you up too). The quality is outstanding. The weight is substantial but not enough to make it uncomfortable to wear. It's balance is perfect and the way the sides move in to grab your neck is unbelievably comfortable. The cooling plates were cool to the touch without even turning on the device and when putting the device around my neck, there wasn't a single spot that didn't feel the significant level of cooling that can come from these plates. The fan runs along the top inner edge which prevents the air from blowing in your ears and directs it towards your neck, jaw and lower cheeks. It has the perfect amount of airflow and is very quiet even at the third fan setting. Even the hinge that connects the two sides so that you can position the arms of the device comfortably around your neck is surrounded by a rubberized material that prevents skin from getting pinched or hair from being grabbed. I haven't tried out the AI feature or the app yet, but I'm sure they're amazing as well. The overall quality of this device is beyond words. I don't usually write reviews but I had to let everyone know that this is the best neck fan they can buy and that they definitely won't regret this purchase and spending a little more for a device of far superior quality to the rest. The design is sleek and stylish compared to my Aice 3. It looks even more like a futuristic cyberpunk collar from a sci-fi show when I wear it with my favorite jacket. The charging is as easy as connecting the charge cable to it and your rated power bank of choice. You can use the fan while charging which means it will work as long as you need it to. The fan is lightweight and I sometimes forget I’m wearing it. I have worn it all day a few times and haven’t experienced any weight issues from it as well. The fan is stronger than before and the hinge is solid and enables me to clip the Aice on my neck if I want it to be in certain positions for heating or cooling and can be swiveled out to maximize the air flow hitting you on a hot summer day when using the fan only. The cooling plates extend all the way to the back and allow for a more consistent cooling effect. The cooling effect is stronger and the heat only generates on the two outer black vents now. There’s no more hot spot in the inner back like the Aice 3 had (Thank god). But the Aice lite plus solved that problem and as a result can also be used as a “therapeutic cooling device” to help keep my neck temperature lower. So that is a major improvement that increases the different ways it can be used by me. The heating effect is powerful and soothing if I have any soreness or cramps and when paired with my favorite jacket I stay warm on nights that have been in the 40-50 degrees. The app is very user friendly and connects with both my Aice’s. While I like the tech approach the Aice 3 has with the touch screen and submenus (Seriously I love the feature!) the Aice lite plus’s manual controls are more practical and efficient and has more app control options that I can use on my phone without taking the fan off is easier overall. I was very sceptical about this device. I have a full size portable fan with a big battery on it. But when it’s the summer and it’s almost 40° with the humidity, blowing hot and humid air at anything does not help at all. I bought one of those neck fans, then I gave it away, cause like I said blowing hot humid at someone is pointless. I saw the price for this thing, it seemed pretty good with the reviews and the fact that it says it does cold. This is the first one that I’ve come across that actually has that. I have MS and the heat is very bad for me, slows me down and causes me pain. That’s why I have a portable fan… because I need to cool down. I shoot hoops a lot and I just stay hot the whole time, if it’s 20° or so it does help to have just a regular push with the wind at you. I know it’s going to be a reliable aid for me this year. So I just hope it doesn’t fall off my neck when I’m sprinting to get the ball when I miss shots. I like how it has that ability to bend exactly where you left it. So it does enclose the neck a little bit, not much but if it’s strong enough resistance, it should be fine I would think. I get lucky if I go to the elementary school when the air-conditioning is on. There’s a vent that shoots out the temperature of the building I like to stay there and cool down. It probably looks super weird cause people wouldn’t know that the vent is cooling me down and I’m super hot. This should keep me from having to look weird. The battery is what I’m worried about. Because I’m gonna need number three always. I’ve worn it out once so far. It didn’t last very long, but you can only expect so much I do have portable energy bank, so it basically doubles, or maybe even triples the amount of time that this thing can blow at a person. It says that it can be charged and used at the same time. I give them five stars because like I said the first of this type thing that I’ve seen. It’s very durable looking, and you can tell somebody really put some love into making this thing. I would definitely suggest it for people at my MS group. We are always looking for a way to cool down while it’s warm outside.. I don’t know if I can update this review and however, much time it takes for me to have a good idea of exactly how good this product is. As a person who is afraid to go outside in the summer, it makes me feel like maybe I can actually go out and do stuff and not have to worry about being overly hot. If I could speak to whoever made this product, I would say thanks. I would say maybe a strap for each side to hold in case you’re running and it falls backwards because you’re too fast. If there was some kind of connecter from side to side to make sure it’s not gonna fall off your neck… that would’ve been dope! The sun is basically my enemy. The cold is not really much better, but I can warm up in the cold, I can’t cool down in the heat. Now I have something that will help me cool down. I will still be cautious. But when I’m out, I’ll have a better idea of how it works. Also, it’s not like I can’t put some kind of thing to hold it together as well. It would just be nice to have like a little clap and the other side has a loop and you just have a string across and make it so it’s guaranteed to not fall off if you’re running too fast. This neck air band really is a big upgrade from the previous model. I have owned other neck bands from other brands, such as TORRAS Coolify ones also. From my using and having used all these different ones at my workplace, I’ve narrowed it down to two units that get cooling the job done the best in the Southern heat, the two Ranvoo Aice Lites. Even the older model Aice Lite still pretty much betters the Coolify Cyber, but a significantly more affordable. Even cheaper now due to all kinds of discounts since the new version came out From my using and having used all these different ones at my workplace, I have come up with a general ranking of them as below.": 1) AICE LITE Plus (2025) 2) AICE LITE (2024) 3) Coolify Cyber 4) Coolify 2S Last year I got the Aice Lite due to its larger cooling area and specs compared to my Coolify 2S. The 2S was OK in the heat. Once you got above 90, it’s starting to be less effective. Still just effective enough to still prefer wearing it rather than take it off. But overall was not effective enough for me. Then, I bought the Aice Lite (2024). This one took it up a notch. It made the heat much more bearable. Yes I had to use a power bank, but definitely worth it. The air flow and the cooling are two areas Ranvoo has really nailed with these neck bands. Now we have the newer upgraded version (2025) of the Aice Lite. It’s absolutely a step up from the older model. The plates get cooler and the airflow is significantly better. The coolness on the plates seem to cover a larger area as well. I’ve also got a Coolify Cyber that I didn’t want to get it dirty at work. I directly compared the Cyber to my new Aice Lite. The Aice does cool noticeably better. Mainly in the air volume it puts out. While all the neckbands I’ve worn, I would describe as “cooling” and “breezy”.. This new Aice to me feels actually “frigid” in comparison. It is truly a step up. I have pictures of the air flow on napkins on highest fan settings. The first two pics of the blue Aice is last year’s model and the last pic of the white one is the newest model Aice Lite. Both on highest fan setting. The newest model blows so strong that the napkin would not lay down over it. All my other neck fans could not blow this hard. But you really do feel that difference. I took my infrared thermometer to the cooling plates of all the models of neck band. I have pictures below. As you can see the newer Aice Lite does get a few degrees cooler than the others. 6 degrees is a very significant difference to your skin. And add that to higher air flow, and it truly makes a difference in the heat. In ambient temps of around 72°F, I actually measured the cooling plates of new Ranvoo Aice Lite down to 54°F. The older Aice Lite got down to 56°F. The rest of the other neck bands were struggling to get down lower than 58°F. The new Ranvoo, due to its new upgraded hardware, also measures cooler temps over a larger surface area of its cooling plates as well. I tested last year's Aice Lite (Blue one in pic) and it measured down to 55.7°F.. That's still impressive, but since it's the older hardware, it didn't quite have the same overall consistency over the whole cooling plate. The upgraded version gets cooler and over more surface area as well. All the tech jargon and measurements aside, the proof's in the pudding. I've Been using the AICE Lite 2025 for a couple of weeks now since AICE were making the claim that this version is designed with the Middle East climate in mind (I live in Dubai). Previously I used the AICE3 which I love, but doesn't really provide the cooling effect I need personally when the temperatures exceed around 35 degrees celsius. Right away, it felt like a quality piece of tech. It's very light and comfy to wear for longer periods, plus it looks pretty sleek compared to my old AICE 3 – definitely an upgrade in the looks department. The real standout for me is how well it cools and since I live in Dubai, I am actually impressed. It comfortably cools down to the 16 degrees celsius I like when the temperature is around 36-38 degrees Celsius, and it still gave a really noticeable cool feeling when I tried it outside in 45 degrees the other day, providing significant relief. This product is a life changer for me! I had been using neck fans which help a little but had to wear ear plugs cuz they were so loud. This product is whisper quiet, even on C3, the highest cooling setting. I was a bit skeptical about the product at first but after reviewing all the positive reviews about the product I decided to spend the money.
