This tattoo pen definetly has a professional quality look and feel to it, the pen is super lightweight and very easy to hold onto and control, I really like that this pen is compatible with a bunch of different needle styles and it is fairly quick and easy to install the needles, I was also really surprised and happy with the battery life on this pen, it came with 2 rechargeable batteries and a charging dock, I can literally do several hours of artwork on just one battery, but the pen also includes an RCA adapter so you can use plug in power as well, the LCD display screen is also really cool and it is easy to see, something else I like is the stroke range, which ranges from 2.6 to 4.0, so this pen is great for bold lines, thin lines and shading, the pen also has a nice low and quiet vibration, even on the 12v setting it's pretty quiet, all in all this is by far my go to pen for all my artwork, the pen is a little pricey if your just getting started, but worth the investment in my opinion. This pen is fantastic! BRONC is a great company that always goes beyond my expectations. The battery lasts forever which makes tattoo sessions practically endless. I’m no pro but I’ve been practicing for a few months consistently. I’ve put the machine through a few hours of practice on silicone skin with a single battery. It’s super quiet and vibrations are kept to a minimum. It also accepts different needle cartridges I’ve used. The body is made of first-rate material and the finish and fit are outstanding. The body is thick with an ergonomic design that makes it easy to hold. But, the most amazing feature of this pen is the ability to adjust among 6 different strokes lengths from 0 to 4.5mm, making it a great multi-purpose pen. In case you’re unfamiliar, long stroke lengths of 4.0mm+ are typically only used for lining, as they pack in ink with hard-hitting strokes. Long strokes pull the boldest lines in a single pass. Medium stroke lengths of 3.5mm can perform a little bit of everything. It’s most commonly used for color packing and shading. And short stroke lengths of 1.8mm-2.5mm are perfect for soft shading and blending work. Tattoo artists who specialize in hyperrealism and black & grey count on soft stroke lengths a lot to get those smooth, seamless blends. The different stroke lengths are imprinted on the body of the pen in white which makes it very easy to read. This is a professional-grade tattoo pen that will not disappoint. It's a little hard to pinpoint what about this pen places it far enough over other similar pens by hundreds of dollars, but it's definitely nice! It has a bit of a limited depth range compared to others, and it doesn't have an easily swappable battery (though it does have rechargeables?)... and it looks nice! It runs really smooth and it feels nice... not a lot more to ask for. But this is probably not a great place to start as a beginner as the investment is massive. I'm just in the beginning phases of learning how to tattoo, and I've tried many different machines now. This only comes with the pen, but fortunately I’ve built up quite a supply of consumables, so lack of accessories isn’t an issue. I’d suggest waiting on this machine until you’ve reached an intermediate level and are ready to work with real skin. The on/off, depth adjustments, and speed fine-tuning were fairly easy and self-explanatory. The gun is more involved than others I’ve had, with more adjustment features for different usage modes and has a very sensitive adjustable needle depth, which really helps when you're still trying to master how far to hold the gun to get the right skin depth (1-2 mm). I still don't feel confident working on actual skin, so I'm still just practicing with skins and intermittently shading in some decades-old scars from an old accident to try it out on actual skin. This machine was easy to handle and allows for steady handling and an even and consistent depth, and the needle didn't hurt any more than professional tattoos. The ink was deposited evenly over the scar tissue area and is healing evenly. The skin trauma was no worse than any of the professional tattoos I've ever gotten, and the healing went by without a hitch, though it was itchier than normal as expected due to the tattoo being done over a keloid scar. Overall, this is a very user-friendly machine for someone in the intermediate phases of learning tattooing and is an excellent value for the money. Read more
