This is a high quality, compact fountain. Assembly is simple and the instructions are clear. Operation is as simple as pushing a button. A 3-second push turns it on and off and shorter pushes switch between 3 modes. One is continuous. If you are going to use continuous, I suggest keeping the unit plugged in so you don’t wear the battery down quickly. Even in continuous mode the pump is so silent that you’ll barely notice it running. The other modes are intermittent which will run for 30 seconds every 30 minutes. This will circulate the water every now and then, and trigger mode which turns the fountain on for 30 seconds when a cat (or a person) walks near it, about 3 feet away from the front. The distance isn’t changeable. The fountain does not have to be plugged in to work. The fountain holds almost a gallon of water and it is continuously filtered through an activated charcoal filter which needs to be replaced periodically. I havent tried testing how long the battery last. But so far it seems to be running great, the only thing I find an issue with is not knowing where to buy extra filters. The fountain is super quiet. I wanna start off by saying I have had several other electric cat water fountains and now with this wireless one I think I have actually found a perfect solution comparing to what I have used before. First off this water fountain is wireless and chargeable by a USB port outlet on the top power Block that pops in on the top part of the dish. This power block comes completely out so you can either charge it while it’s on the dish or take it off and charge it while cleaning the dish. The instructions say you need to charge it for seven hours before using it, and I’m assuming to recharge it it might take that long also. What I liked about this is there is no cord sticking out the back because I have cats that will chew on cords once in a while or I should say when I don’t even know and that it can be a big hazard so the other positive thing about being wireless is that you can move it to wherever you want and it doesn’t have to be by a plug. It has three modes on it. One is continuous waterfall mode, the next one is intermittent and the third one is motion sensor. If you want it on full-time waterfall, you have to have it plugged in. I don’t need that. I have just tried it on automatic sensor And I have tried it myself. The waterfall comes on within 2 feet of getting close to the fountain. Right now, my cats are just fascinated by it because as they come over to the fountain, the waterfall starts up and they actually think that something‘s happening like maybe there’s a live something in there and they sit there and stare at it and want to play with that waterfall so they haven’t figured out yet that it is not something alive, jumping out at them😁 the fountain has actually been entertaining for them, which is great! I think this is the mode I’ll be using all the time. The top of the unit lifts off, the stainless steel plate comes off the little plastic top part also so you can clean it and put the new filters below on the plastic part for the water. It comes with three filters. It would be nice if it came with a few more as the instructions are saying, change it once a week. I’ve already looked on Amazon. You can buy a pack of six filters I believe with the other little filter pads for the pump in the water, but if I have to, I’ll take the filter out and soak it in bleach for five minutes and clean it myself if I’m short on filters, I will, though order some more and it would be nice like I said if there was a few more in with the water fountain. Another thing that would be a plus that I would easily buy from them or wish that they had already thought of it, would be if they sold two power units for this instead of just the one block on the top so that you could be charging one and have it ready all the time when the other one goes dead so you could just pop one back in without having to wait to charge the dead one. If they end up selling one separately so you can buy an extra I will surely do so! So like I mentioned it would be nice if they sold a fountain that came with two power blocks so you could always have one charged and ready to pop in when the other one goes down. In the instruction book, they actually have a two year warranty on this and all it says is you have to do is keep your proof of purchase. I couldn’t believe it a two year warranty on a cat water fountain so if your power unit goes down for any reason I guess they will just replace it, which is great. You can easily make a copy of your receipt from Amazon in your orders list. I think I will write the company and ask them if I can buy an extra power unit just so I have one and see what they say. I’ll repost in my review about that so that you know, and if for some reason they’re not doing it, I’m probably going to buy another one or two of these for other rooms or even to take on the RV just because of the convenience and the size that it is, it’s very nice. I think this is my favorite one so far very easy to clean compared to ones I’ve had before and I like the fact that it’s totally wireless. One more thing I thought of if they would do which would make it go over the top, would be to add an LED light that came out where the waterfall was so it lit up a little bit in the dark that would make it extra pretty :-) I’ll give this A+ and another A+++ for the kitties entertainment😸 Read more

The first bowl I ordered wouldn't work. The pump charged OK, but would not start. I emailed the company and the were very helpful. They wanted me to video the product to show what was happening with it and send it to them. Once I did this, they sent a replacement which works very well. Read more
