The mask zips in the back, from almost the top of the head, down. The lens do not make you see like a bug, it's more like looking through a screen very close to your face. It’s nice when toys actually look like the photos in the description and aren’t just some cheap knock off and this one doesn’t disappoint on that front. Zipper, eye covers and material all seem like they will last a long time. I got the kid’s size for my nephew, but I can wear it too as long as I don’t zip up the back. It’s not too hard to see out of, so you don’t have to worry about running into things, but vision is obscured enough to make details difficult to make out so activities like reading or watching TV are out. The material isn’t too hard to breath through when playing quietly (there’s no mouth hole) but might be annoying if your kiddo is running around a lot and breathing heavily. Read more
