UPDATE: the seller reached out and informs dem the colour is gunmetal black. To me it’s not back. The seller also offered to refund some funds to offset the cost of me purchasing a power supply with a longer cable. i received the funds and found what is an extension cord for a sexology camera system but fits the barrel connector specs provided my this seller for their adapter. i purchased that it it walked great. the longer reach with the extension is perfect and they click together securely. the laptop it’s self runs well and works geat. i have increased the rating from 2 to 4 stars because i was looking for a black laptop and the description said black. it isn’t as can clearly be seen in the photo the laptop arrived well packaged without any damage. in the box was also a usb hub which was a nice addition. as this is a more generic laptop i wasn’t expecting the same quality as a name brand but sometimes these generic systems are good and have much less bloatware. first thing i saw when opening the shipping box was a silver laoptop. i had specifically shopped for black and this is described as black in the listing. then i noticed the lame (yes lame) power adapter with the large adapter combined with the plug. unlike most laptops which have the adapter as one part of the cord and then the plug part is a regular size and doesn’t block other sockets on the power bar. i also noticed that the cord is very short. in fact i can’t even get it to reach the wall socket right beside the table i have the laptop on… every other laptop i have had reached the plug with plenty of cord to spare. these voile issues already had me irritated and then when i plugged in the laptop i didn’t see any light to indicate it was charging. i like the charging light as it reassures me the laptop is charging and ready for use when i need it. first laptop o have had without it. i stayed it up and windows stated no problem and i was able to setup the fingerprint reader easily. the trackpad does sone strange things in reaction to my swipes but i think i will have to go to the settings and sort them out. i will come back and update once i have been using it a bit longer. When I first got this laptop I was excited, what a great deal! When it arrived however there was a problem with the GPU, the computer was unusable and I was LIVID. HOWEVER, the seller took my complaint seriously and did everything in their power to set it right. They took ownership of the issue and set to work setting things right. They even went above and beyond what I asked, doing everything in their power to resolve this. They took their product issue seriously and after sending off my replacement laptop asked what happened so their engineers could get on top of problem and rectify it. They took my frustrations and my situation with respect and did what they could. And you know what? Things happen, things go wrong sometimes, it’s just the reality of life, and they did everything they could do to right that wrong. Within days my replacement laptop was at my door, cracking it open I got to finally use it and it’s in immaculate condition, the graphics great, and no problems whatsoever. Despite my initial bad experience the seller set it right and now I have a computer that’s the best bang for the buck out there. Good and responsible seller, and best computer for the dollar!
