Awesome little case with support for SSD. Quiet cooling. I haven't figured out how to enable the readout because I'm using Kubuntu instead of Raspbian, but simple directions for Raspbian are included. The only negative is that the directions for assembly have one step out of order, so it won't fit together as instructed. This added about 5 minutes to the assembly. Read more

This seems to be an incredible case for the Raspberry Pi 5. Seems to be well designed and built. Looks like a mini-tower PC. The plexi-glass sides are thick and I like that it includes a tower style cooler (which by the way has a direct copper heatpipe) + a RGB fan for the CPU. Along with the cutouts on the sides, it should provide ample cooling no matter the intensity of the task. I also like how it comes with an NVMe board to allow significantly more storage, and even a little screen for monitoring stats. The case itself is excellent once assembled, but be warned that the instructions are wrong in a few places. It shows you placing copper posts in places which will cause you to run out later in assembly, and when you go to install the software for the OLED display, a number of the commands have typos. This a fantastic little case for the Raspberry enthusiast. It has a stylish appearance, resembling traditional computer case. The construction is decent, made of plastic and acrylic. The case itself doesn't need to be as big as it is, in case you are looking to stack your Raspberry Pis. Overall, highly recommend it if you are looking for aesthetically pleasing case. Read more

You can see in the video what a completed install looks like. Used the normal PI imager with the NVMe drive in an external enclosure. After that and finishing the build, plus the needed steps to enable the OLED (mono-chrome) display. Video show system information (python script), there are other example script provided and expect if you know Python you could come up with your own. Just know a resolution of 128x64 pixels is not going to give you much space to be creative. Additionally, instructions have you setup the display as a service job so no idea if you can get it to change what is displaying short of a config change and reboot which is what i have been doing. Which is a bit of a hassle, again I am not a Raspberry/Linux guru so there maybe better options. If so, it is not in the instructions provided by manufacture or the repo they reference. Probably a bit overkill for building anything with a Raspberry Pi, but this case makes it easy to consolidate components on one place. Best used to stick a Pi 5 somewhere in your data room or closet. The main body of the case is plastic and has two acrylic sides (peel off the brown protective paper that makes them look like cardboard!). The Pi mounts to the bottom with 4 screws and standoffs. All necessary hardware is included. At the top of the case is a small OLED display that you can set up (with programming) to display whatever you want. It connects to the Pi using GPIO and interfaces via I2C. The kit includes a PC-style cooler with a heatpipe. Probably way overkill but you have the room so I guess it's fine. Not super thrilled with the cooler mounting to the Pi but it should work. I might end up just using the standard Pi 5 cooler/fan. Included is a M.2 NVMe under board that allows you to connect a SSD for storage or even as your boot drive. Be careful of what drive you choose as some don't get along well with Raspberry Pi (do your research). The included manual is very comprehensive and goes into a lot of details on how to use a NVMe SSD and also how to install/configure the software to get the OLED display working. Overall a very well thought out kit. My plan is to use this to build a Raspberry Pi 5 NAS server for backing up our local documents and devices. Read more

(Reviewers' note: I have to wait for quite a while until I get my RasberryPi 5 delivered because of Canada Post's strike, so I'll just review the unbuilt case kit) This is a complete, well furnished case kit to install a Raspi 5 AND a SSD drive. I love that it comes with a minute OLED screen to allow some "screenless" functions. The kit comes with complete instructions, connectors and RGB lights and fans to encase the computer.
