Let me put the biggest downside right up front: QMK support for this keyboard is incomplete at best. Yeah, Redragon released some source code, and yeah, you can compile it and flash it, but it's not as good or as complete as the shipping firmware (which is a violation of the QMK license). So if you want to do anything beyond Via configuration, you'd be better off to keep looking. I'll edit this review if Redragon ever releases the real firmware source. This is my second Redragon keyboard. The first was a K556 with brown tactile switches. It was pretty good, but the microcontroller had been changed from the original Sonix chip to a CH555, an 8051 clone. As such, it wouldn't work well with programs like OpenRGB, and no chance of using the Sonix-QMK port for QMK support like you could on the older versions. So I took a chance on the K715 Pro. I thought I'd miss my ten-key, but so far it hasn't been an issue. If I need a ten-key that bad I can pull out a backup keyboard. The board looks great out of the box, with some great contrasting keycaps. Downside: they block the RGB LEDs, and I want to show those off. The switches are linear and silent until you bottom them out. The gasket mount provides a small amount of flex and makes typing a pleasant experience. I got a set of black pudding keycaps and now the LED effects are pretty great. You can connect with bluetooth or via USB-C, both work as advertised. There is silicone noise-deadening inside the case, and everything feels very solid and heavy, but the keeb is small enough to throw in a bag if you want to take it with you. I appreciate that red dragon is stepping up their game now that companies like epomaker are around making awesome keyboards, but it's a little disappointing for the price. Keycaps are nice. Typing feels decent. It's an unfair comparison next to my main epomaker keyboard, but I was hoping for a little bit more for the price. Read more

I've had a couple of Red Dragon keyboards before and they've all been fantastic value for money. However, on this occasion Red Dragon has fallen way short. Overall the keyboard looks nice and I really was looking forward to it, especially having via compatibility at this price, sadly it was not to be. The first issue came when plugging it in. Who ever thought it was a good idea to put the connections on the side needs to be severely reprimanded. It does include an angled USB-C cable but it just so happens that I use my trackpad on the left of my keyboard so having a cable on that side is very inconvenient. Secondly the switches are close to the worst sounding and feeling switches that I've come across, again I like RedDragon stuff, I'm currently typing this on a keyboard with Red Dragon switches. It's supposed to be gasket mounted, but it feels as stiff there is little to no flex in the keyboard. Lastly the USB/OFF/BlueTooth switch was probably broken on delivery. It seemed to work initially but the first time switched it to bluetooth mode the whole switch mechanism fell into the board. Overall this is the worst experience I've had with a Red Dragon keyboard. Besonders begeistert mich die kabellose Funktion, die für mehr Freiheit sorgt, sowie die dedizierte Knopfsteuerung, die das Spielerlebnis noch weiter verbessert. Die Geräuschdämpfung ist top und macht das Tippen viel angenehmer. Die Tastatur lässt sich hervorragend programmieren, und die linear Schalter bieten ein flüssiges, angenehmes Schreibgefühl.
