This product is an Ultra HD 4K dash cam that works at 60fps & & comes with many great features. The dash cam itself is a good size that won’t be blocking your driving view with its 2.4in screen & 2.4in wideness & a total height of 3.9in. It’s also easy to assemble & install, you can attach the dash cam to your cars windshield with the square sticky pad in the direction of your liking & then attach the power cord to the dash cam & plug in the other end into the vehicle’s 12V DVC outlet & there is an additional backup or rear camera that can be plugged in as well. This dash cams 4K camera is super clear & it is equipped with Starvis2 sensors which is great for less light sensitivity, less noise, less motion blur & captures license plate numbers clearer while in motion. Outstanding picture quality Front & Rear cameras. The 4K @ 60fps on front camera is absolutely sharp, crystal clear, super quality. License plates easier to read than previous dash cams I have used. Wi-Fi 6 lightning fast. Very pleased with my purchase and fast delivery of the camera. Only con, wish the rear camera had USB C connectivity instead of coaxial cable so I could have used existing cable run, but just a minor inconvenience. No anxiety. No problems. I even installed the rear camera upside down but was able to flip it lol. I'm not technologically advanced and it took me like 3 hours. I watched a few tutorials on YouTube (ChrisFix, Safe Drive Solutions) and I was straight. The hardwire bundle and Bluetooth button I ordered also. STORAGE I bought a 128 SanDisk micro SD card and also a 2TB SSD from Samsung. ( It was on sale for $150. ) Formatted after plugging it up and simple mount to back of mirror. Photos of my setup included. PARKING MODE It's working with the hardwire kit and SSD. I don't know how long it will run as it's the first night and I set my cut off to 12v. Will see in time. Bought this camera to replace my 5+ year old Viofo A129 Pro Duo which I thought had a great picture, but started to suffer a bit of focus shift from the years of direct Florida sunshine. What an improvement the new Starvis 2 lens and internals are! The simplified menu system is easy to figure out and the one button press to turn on WiFi and configure all the settings from your phone is fantastic. Had to upgrade my direct wire kit to the new HK4 which was simple and the new smaller wire for wiring the rear camera was long enough to reach from the top of the the windshield to the top of the rear window on a 2019 Ram 1500 (New Body Style). Overall a worthwhile upgrade which I expect will least years of daily use and abuse. Read more

I upgraded to the A329 from a A229 Pro 2Ch. Overall, I thought it was a great upgrade. QUALITY This thing feels like a premium product vs. the run of the mill dashcam and even other premium models. The design hasn't changed from the A229, which is fine since you can't really complain about that design. THe cameras are easily movable and click in to the holder so it's easy to remove to upgrade, etc. INSTALLATION Installation was a breeze, especially coming from A229 Pro. The units are very similar and *most* of the wiring were the same so it was literaally swap out old, swap in new. With one big caveat, the wiring for the rear camera are different than the A229 pro (USB-C vs. barrell). This was very irritating as it necessitated having to redo the wiring in the back. I understand this was to enable some of the upgrades in the rear camera, but still it was annoying to have to redo that. But I understand if you are coming from the A229 Plus, the wires are identical. IMAGE QUALITY With the Starvis sensor, you KNOW the image on this thing will be awesome and it is! It is pretty much the best sensor in the market for dash cams. Visually, I can't tell much of a different from the A229 pro, with one different in that the A329 Pro can record up to 60fps with HDR off. The 60fps would be great for day time so debating whether to permanently just use that setting. Nighttime performance with the HDR is amazing and where this shines. It can record both front and back. OTHERS - The A329 only comes with 2 channels so far. I was coming from 2 so this did not matter. I think outside of taxi drivers and people who want to record family roadships (corner case), I am not sure any one will care - The SSD is a very neat feature. I hooked it up to an old SSD card I had lying around to test it. However, ultimately I decided to get back to the microSD as it is smaller and more convenient. The SSD had to be hooked by cable, ruining the aesthetics for me. However, I am in the market for a good mount and if I find one, I will go for as it as 1TB SSD are dirt cheap and the idea of recording directly is amazing - The extra cooling feature is huge for me as I live in NY and (1) I leave car outside and (2) it can get hot. Not that the A229 every "burnt out" but the extra cooling is a great peace of mind - Wifi 6 is huge, big speed boost for transfers. My phone is Wifi 6 and it is where i transfer video files. Read more
