I got these for traveling and they fit the bill. I have nicer makeup bags that I use for every day, but these are good for traveling as I won't mind if they get lost and they are very lightweight. The fabric on them is on the cheap side, but they are lined and will hold a lot of stuff. These would be a good choice for a stocking stuffer for a teenager or as a secret Santa gift. My husband ordered me a really nice nail system for Christmas and these bags work wonderfully to hold my stuff. I put the smallest bag inside the biggest bag and it held so much. The zipper part at the top holds SO much. I have 100 or 200 eyeshadow sponge brushes plus extra stuff in that section alone. I keep most of my powders in the medium bag with room to spare. The big bag is not sturdy. It is a cloth bag and the only support it has is from whatever is in it but I like that because it folds down small to store when not using. The design is pretty. I had REALLY high hopes for these, but I’m not a fan. 1. Overall: they all have the texture of low quality polyester. They’re wrinkled and have zero structure of their own. If you have texture issues, just pass. They have “the jolly house” on a sewn tab on the front, which is a little weird. The ribbons say “just for you”. I think these could be cute for a child, but not over the age of 11. 2. Durability: they’re not. The zippers are so quick, if you’re not careful you’ll run it off the track. Because there’s no structure to the bags, you can’t do anything one handed. You have to hold the bag open and look for something. It cannot sustain itself. 3. Size: the largest bag and the second largest bag have about the same volume; the only difference is how they open. One is a base zipper and the other is a lidded zipper.
