For the price I can't not this at all, it's not professional quality, but the self-levelling seems to work really well it comes with an interesting magnetic bracket I can't imagine using and it works pretty much right out-of-the-box. For the price (and you can get 25% off with the voucher in April 2025) you just can't beat this for getting a level line picture or something at home. If you need something that projects over 15 m in distance then you need something more professional than this but otherwise this will do you fine. Unit arrived well packaged, with the laser level itself and the magnetic wall mount in a well-padded box to store it all in, with recesses for each individual component. The green laser is clear on all three of its brightness settings (used internally) have not had any cause to use it outside so can’t comment on that. It has an additional flashing mode. It states 15m range. The horizontal line is level when viewed against a spirit level, so no reason to doubt the self-levelling function. The manual claims 0.5mm plus or minus per metre The magnetic mount takes a firm hold on a metal surface; it has small silicone dots to stop it marking any surface The controls are intuitive, an on / off switch / sliding cover on the side, then the brightness button and the lock (manual) mode button on top. It takes 2 x AA batteries (supplied), with an estimated operating time of 20 hours. A well-constructed unit, which looks like will give good service, with a good level of accuracy. Well presented in a padded storage box, no issues keeping it in good order when out of use. Read more
