Good overall product, but on the large size. It's the only electric precision screwdriver I've found that has variable RPMs. This is very useful when starting screws, and then switching to a higher rpm/torque to finish. Who wants to start a screw starting at max RPM. It's also large, likely due to the battery. Hoto should make a smaller version with a smaller battery. I prefer manual precision screwdrivers due to the size. See pic. The case also looks like a toy, whereas the tool itself appears serious and well made. The lego blocks/primary colors look doesn't help when you have the set. Would be nice if it looked more serious/professional, and less fragile to travel with. Overall a fun and useful product. I'm primarily using this precision screwdriver set for disassembling electronics and it works well. The motor in the screwdriver is powerful and I like that it has 3 different torque and speed settings to choose from. The screwdriver is able to loosen moderately tight fasteners without stalling and the brushless motor operates quickly. I also like that it can be used manually to provide the initial torque needed to loosen a tight fastener and then it can be used electrically to finish removing them if needed. The screwdriver also has a braking mechanism which is a helpful feature as it will almost instantly stop once the button is released. I find that some electric screwdrivers keep rotating when the button is released which tends to cause wear on fasteners and bits. The screwdriver is comfortable to hold and the button locations feel natural to use. I like the assortment of bits in this kit as they include common sizes as well as some less common security type bits. The bits appear to be accurately sized and they feel hard as I haven't noticed any signs of wear. The Snapbloq storage case is a unique design and all of the bits are easy to access and held in place with magnets instead of plastic clips. All of the bits have the sizes stamped in them and the case is neatly labeled and organized. Overall this is a helpful electric screwdriver set and is convenient to use for disassembling electronics with many screws such as a laptop. The LED lights on the end of the screwdriver are handy for looking in recessed screw holes and the screwdriver holds the bits securely using a magnet. Read more

I tend to fix, mod and upgrade my PC and photo/video gear on my own, and I high quality precision screwdriver set is a must to avoid costly mistakes. I already own a high quality manual set, but this set caught my eye because of it’s battery powered. Although I got this set through the Vine program, but the $100 price tag, after a $30 coupon, felt a little on the higher side. Still, the features seemed promising, so I decided to give it a try. The first thing that impressed me was the packaging. It is undeniably sleek and futuristic. It has a premium feel right out of the box. Inside, is the sheer number of bits available which is quite expansive. More than enough for various tasks I might encounter. They appear to be well made, and so far, I have not noticed any stripping, which is a common concern with smaller bits. I think that one of the best features of this set is its three torque settings: 0.05, 0.35, and 0.5 N.m. Each drive is designed to stop at its set torque, which is incredibly useful for preventing screw slippage or over tightening. For me, this precision is invaluable. I am not dealing with heavy duty applications, but rather intricate components where exact torque can prevent damage. The manufacturer claims a 60 minute runtime on a single charge from its 800mAh battery, rechargeable via a convenient Type C cable. In my own testing, depending on the amount of torque required for tasks, the battery life typically hovered around the 50 minute mark. For my specific needs, which involve fixing cameras, lenses, drones, and other photographic and videographic equipment, this performance is more than adequate. I rarely need continuous operation for an hour straight; instead, I work on precise, shorter tasks. The brighter LED light also makes a huge difference when working with internal electronics. As a photographer and videographer, this set has proven to be incredibly useful. Although I don’t frequently need to open up camera bodies or lenses to adjust internal components, or perform maintenance on my drones and gimbals, it’s really great set to keep in my gear. For PC upgrades and fixing, a set like this is a must. The variety of bits have the right sizes my needs. It brings a level of confidence to my equipment maintenance that a manual set simply cannot.
