When your razor head starts to catch and pull on hair... it is time to change out the cutting head. The oem one is expensive. This one was reasonable and fit perfectly. It cut fast and clean too. It looks and feels like an oem part. You can wash out this part in the sink with no problems and add a few drops of oil for a clean shave. Good replacement head that I would recommend using. I ordered this for my husband but got the size wrong. He has a series 8, not 7. That said, he did check this replacement head out and said that it feels very rough compared to the OEM heads from Braun. He uses his razor to shave his head and he said that he would not want to drag this replacement over his head, he'd be afraid of scratches. Because he can't try this out, he can't recommend it, but he said he'd be reluctant to try it because of it's rough feel. Something to note... Read more

The shaver head is packaged in a convenient and easy-to-open box, unlike the alternative plastic packaging that is notoriously difficult to open. The price is also reasonable compared to the original shaver, and after a single shave, it produces a very comparable cut.
