I drink Yerba Mate in the traditional way a number of times a week. I like these stainless vacuum walled versions of the gourd. This is a super fun design! This Yerba Dun-Dun stainless steel mate gourd is a nice little find for anyone who enjoys tea. It works well for coffee, hot drinks, cold drinks, or really whatever you feel like having. The gourd is shaped like an elephant and holds about 5.4 oz (160ml) of liquid. It feels sturdy and well-made with its stainless steel design. The set includes a stainless steel straw, a tea filter, tea shavings, and a cleaning brush. There are five colors to pick from: Light Green, Black, Pink, Yellow, and Deep Green. Each one has a subtle glitter finish and a small five-point star design. The box also has instructions on one side, which explain how to brew tea or Yerba Mate, along with tips on water temperature and cleaning. When I made my tea, I placed the tea leaves on one side of the filter, poured water on the other, and sipped through the straw. It worked well, and I didn’t have to bother with steeping.
