It does give you a softer and plump looking skin in the morning because I use it in my night time routine. It is sticky so I would apply about 30+ mins before I hit the bed. It did feel really good on my skin when I put it on at night the first time using it but then the next morning I applied it before going to work and put my makeup over top it and it made my skin so glowy I did not realize how good it was until I looked at myself in the mirror after putting on my makeup. I was amazed at how glowy and glassy my skin looked! I haven't used it for so long period of time but I definitely saw a difference in how moisturized my skin is and how beautiful it looks under my makeup! I got the Medicube Booster-H on a Black Friday sale and this was recommended by the company and buyer reviews a lot. I already have so much skin care and recently I got Skinlab moisturizer cream really cheap at TjMaxx that was super jelly-like to use with it so I skipped. A week after I got the device and was using Skinlab with it, I was ordering Christmas presents and I needed a few more $ for free shipping (not paying shipping, I will and have ordered straws to feel like Im not wasting those couple dollars) so I went with this since it was cheap. I actually love it. A little goes a looong way. It literally feels like the Booster device suctions to my face with it. I've always had dry and very climate sensitive skin. After using this I don't feel like I need added moisturizer or Vaseline (and it dries eventually, unlike Vaseline, even though it feels grossly sticky when first apllied) after using the device with it and it felt like everything actually worked better together. Not one of those " buy all my products to use together to make it work the best, even though other brands are cheaper and exactly the same thing " bs. Ps. I also really love the Booster-H. I thought I had bought the booster pro and was REALLY disappointed after I realized I didn't. I added the booster pro to my cart and was going to return this one. After using it one time (even before the Medicube Jelly) I changed my mind. Way cheaper and it's actually the closest to "glass skin" like the website says, I've ever had. There's a really good reddit post made by a bio student that did research about the science of it too;because they were caution about the website since its mega sketchy and has basically no explanation of research behind the process. During Prime Week, I went a bit nutso and ended up on a shopping spree for 30-40 K-beauty products as well as other goodies. I bought into the hype with this Medicube cream and after assessing with an ingredient checker, it appeared it could work for my combination skin. On one hand, I didn’t mind the jelly texture in its tub but on my skin - I couldn’t help but wonder if it’s suitable for me. It was sticky upon application but settled down eventually. I haven’t attempted to use makeup over it and probably won’t, the texture didn’t give off the vibe it’ll work seamlessly with it. I think this product might be better suited using with one of their devices (which I do not own based on the overall average low ratings it has yielded). As far as how it fared on my skin, it hasn’t caused irritations and it appeared in conjunction with other K-beauty products I’m using - my T-zone oil has been regulated. My favorite moisturizer is out of stock so I decided to try something new that I'd had my eye on. Very pricey, I bought this on a holiday sale while the price was cut almost in half. This normally costs more than I can really rationalize for the amount you get in the container... Though, you don't need a lot. In fact, less is more. It'll probably last me a few months. When I say less is more, that's my recommendation. It feels very sticky when you first put it on, so tie your hair back or it will stick. However, it absorbed pretty well! I was pleasantly surprised. Within an hour it soaked into my skin and my face is still glowing. The beauty of jelly moisturizer I suppose! Definitely helps during the winter months when my skin likes to dry and flake like a lizard. I'm not a fan of the scent, but that's just me. It's light and doesn't linger, but it smells like my aunt in the early 2000s. I love that woman, but the smell of her beauty products made my nose get snotty. But while I'm on the subject of scent, it's not irritating my skin. I have eczema and sensitive skin so almost anything can set off an itchy rash on my skin. This however, didn't. I bought this as a cream to put on in the morning and was excited that it’s collagen. I didn’t expect much from it BUT WOAH BUDDY. This far exceeded my expectations. I’ve been using retinols for a couple of years and the results are negligible, but after a little over 2 weeks using this I’ve seen significant improvement in my fine lines, and more amazingly in the more defined forehead lines. I didn’t expect much not purchases this in the hopes of minimizing wrinkles, but it absolutely has. Also, my skin looks soft, glowing and amazing. Now, fair warning, when you put it on it’s kind of sticky/tacky for about 5 minutes until it soaks into your skin. If that’s something that will bother you then skip it, but if you can deal with that slight inconvenience then you’re about to be majorly impressed. Pretty sure I’ll stick with this product for as long as they keep making it. It’s a freaking miracle. Read more
