I bought this Apple brand $49 polycarbonate clear case for my new iPhone 16 from Amazon for $9.67. How did I get such a deal? I ordered a “like new” one. The box the case came in was the original Apple package and had NEVER BEEN OPENED. (Law prohibits sellers from labeling returned products as “new,” even if they are just that.) Feel like I hit the jackpot! I bought this case to replace a very clunky, heavy, problematic Miracase, which is now in the trash. What a world of difference! I applied a Tocol screen protector (another great product) and then slid the phone into this perfectly fitting case. It’s light, easy to hang onto, had sufficient bumpers around the edges, and shows off the attractive color of my phone. I did save the Miracase camera lens protector; it fits just fine. Good, well fitting case. MagSafe works well, and it allows you to see the lovely colour on the new iPhone 16 models. But the side buttons aren’t terribly responsive. There’s no satisfying tactile little click when a side button is pressed sometimes leading to multiple presses, or sometimes thinking you’ve pressed the button only to realize it didn’t register. So, I am NOT a fan of silicone cases. I generally have found them to be slippery, dirt magnets and tend to stretch out fairly quickly. I had already tried one for my new iPhone 16, and returned it immediately. I did think about maybe trying out the Apple silicone cases, but at $50…just couldn’t justify it. Then came Amazon’s Black Friday Sale. I pop on to see that the Apple cases for the iPhone 16 were on sale for $22! Okay…I‘ll give it a try. I received by Magenta case and I am sooo glad I gave it a try!! I LOVE THIS CASE!!! The Magenta works perfectly with the pink iPhone. The fit is snug. The case is not slippery, grip is good. Has a bit of a lip around the case, even with my screen protector on. Buttons are clicky. And I LOVE the Camera button! I have inadvertently activated the camera a few times with my other cases that lack the button. Camera lens protection is adequate, and it appears to have a hardened ring for further protection. This Apple iPhone 16 silicone case just checks all the boxes for me, for a slim fit case. I would most definitely recommend this case! Read more
