After few hours this headset gives u massive headache due to lack of comfort and support, too much pressure by headband and ear pads are bad too (ears touch driver etc). Even tho this headset falls off ur head easily. Sound quality is not customizable, just 1 setting is to enable dolby atmos and use custom eq there. I bought this headset for ASC, but i need a solution for the headband problem which is like a needle pushing in ur head. Theres a hole in my head after all day. Not recommended for mid-long sessions! Ok, I read many other reviews on this headset and was surprised to see so many people saying the sound quality is not good, and that the headset is uncomfortable. I completely disagree. I’ve been wearing them for 6 hours straight and my ears/head are not sore. They are light and have fabric EarPads. The ear pads are one of my favorite parts, they are soft, conform to my head nicely and block out a lot of background noise even with the noise canceling off. Out of the box, the audio quality was a bit unimpressive. But where this headset shines is truly within the software in icue app. I am using them with a pc and already had the icue app. The app immediately recognized the headset and connected to them. I updated the firmware and went through the setup for corsairs “soundID personalization” which takes about 5 minutes. It automatically sets an eq profile based on your hearing profile and adjusts each speaker individually to give you the best listening experience for your taste. It transformed the sound quality into something amazing. Seriously.. amazing. I am impressed. After playing a few hours in game and watching a movie I was even more impressed. It feels like I’m sitting in a theater. This headset supports Dolby atmos and sounds absolutely incredible. I also spent some time on discord with my brother and before I could tell him I got a new headset he had already made a comment about how clear my voice was coming through. Microphone works well. The sound in game was incredible. I Highly recommend spending the time to set up the soundID profile and downloading Dolby atmos. Both are super easy to do and took me almost no effort.. another cool feature is that while you have it connected to your pc, you can also connect your phone and it will play overlapping audio from both devices at the same time. Super cool. my previous experience with headsets that need software was with razer synapse and I was so frustrated with their software I swore that I would never buy another headset that needed software. I was pleased to find that you don’t have to have the software but i do highly recommend it. I was also a bit nervous about spending this much money on a headset because I was so disappointed with my high end razer headset. I feel this headset is worth the money and I finally feel like I got what I payed for. It is good quality and well made. I will update after I’ve used them for a few weeks. Read more

Mit diesem Headset sind alle aktuellen Features verbaut, die aktuell zu bekommen sind: Geräusche können komplett verhindert werden, Active Noise Cancelling oder gar ganz offen. Sehr gut! Das habe ich am Vorgänger alles vermisst, und ist nun in diesem Modell verfügbar. Head Set ist einfach zu tragen: Bequem und individuell einstellbar. Das Material ist robust und metallisch stabil. Man hat nicht das Gefühl, dass das Billigware ist. Die Ohrpolster sind individuell zu beurteilen: die Polster vom Vorgängermodell waren für mich angenehmer, aber trotzdem gut und nicht störend bei langem Tragen. Der Sound: umwerfend immersive... wie beworben. Mit Dolby Atmos und dann noch ein Spiel, das dieses unterstützt ist das ein Erlebnis. Ich habe das so noch nie empfinden können. Geräusche, die ich vorher nie wahrgenommen habe, sind nun für mich deutlich hörbar. Aber auch hier ist die Beurteilung sehr subjektiv durchzuführen. Fakt ist aber, dass für Spiele und Software wie Discord, mit Dolby Atmos und Zertifizierung das ein perfektes Headset ist. Die Laufzeit der Batterien ist mit 20 Stunden eher illusorisch, aber die Aufladung sehr schnell. Ich hatte daher noch nie ein Problem: in Pausen die Aufladung für 15 Minuten durchführen hat mich nie in Bedrängnis gebracht. Micro und Stimme sind angenehm und qualitativ gut. Hatte keine "Beschwerden" erhalten :-) von meinen Mithörern. Die Steuerung rechts einfach: vor und zurück und Profil Wahl (Geräuschunterdrückung, 3 Profile). Die Steuerung links (an dieser Seite ist das Micro angebracht): ein Schalter 3-stufig: Aus, WLAN (Dongle), Bluetooth. Dies ist, so finde ich, nicht so gut gelungen. Der Aus-Ein Schalter sollte getrennt von den Funktionen WLAN und Bluetooth sein. Ich muss immer überlegen, und auch darauf schauen, in welche Richtung ich den Schalter bewegen muss, um die Kopfhörer auszuschalten. Stummschaltung am Microfon (elastischer und stabiler Arm) ist super u. genau richtig platziert. Bei Stummschaltung wird das am Microfon Kopf rot angezeigt. Links ist am Kopfhörer die Lautstärke, steuerbar durch einen grossen Ring, einfach und mit etwas Widerstand beim Drehen versehen. Das ist gut: es verstellt sich beim Hantieren mit dem Headset nicht. Sehr gut durchdacht! Auch die weiteren Funktionen, wie die benutzerdef. Taste sollte im Manual angeschaut werden, da man hier eine nützliche Funktionen hinterlegen kann. Der rechte Ring am rechten Kopfhörer ist der Multifunktionsring: dieser kann für die Verwendung der Lautstärke des verbunden Bluetooth Gerätes, z.B. Handy, in der iCue Software konfiguriert werden. Somit kann die Lautstärke mit dem linken Ring am PC, und am rechten Ring das gleichzeitig verbundene Handy, gesteuert werden. Cool, wenn beide Verbindungen vorhanden sind: ich verpasse damit keine Anruf oder Message :-) Hier ganz wichtig zu erwähnen: die Konfiguration mit der iCue Software ist unumgänglich. Die Tasten- / Ringezuweisung macht man dort; Ganz neu ist auch, dass diese Profile auch auf dem Gerät speicherbar sind, so dass bei "Software Ausfall" das Gerät funktioniert, wie gewohnt. Das ist eine sehr wichtige Sache meiner Meinung nach. Zum Schluss: das Gewicht ist gut ausbalanciert. I really cannot find any fault with these wireless overhead headphones perhaps except their initial hefty feel. But even that, once on your head the weight balance along with the quality band and headphone makes them very comfortable and you soon forget they are there short of the great sound coming in your ears. The features set on the PC software, with the iCue which I happen to have installed, give access to a nice set of options, controls and tuning. The overall built and the material quality for the frame, ear pieces, head band, buttons, microphone and connectors can really be resume in one word: excellent. First, they can be used in Bluetooth mode and in that mode, they work in HD quality mode and the microphone is top notch for phone calls. In fact, the call quality is so great you would think your callers voices are awesome. Interestingly you can use the headphone in Bluetooth and still be connected to the dongle mode and thus have full function, on PC for my part, and both audios will mix. If connected to both, then the ring volume on each side control the individual signal, one for Bluetooth and one for native mode. Everything is well though out and with the sound quality it is still easy to distinguish both sources. Then you can make these headphones really shine by using the software and tuning them, called SoundID, to your specific ears. That is done by having you hear different sound frequency and confirming until you now longer hear them. For each ear so that can be tune to your own audible band and then you select your favorite music style loop and do A-B testing, a bit like eye test, telling the software which one you prefer. After a bit of those they are tune to you and you do not need an equalizer to try to adjust manually. For many other I have seen it is gimmicking, but here I immediately heard the difference and felt the music was richer, more balanced and heard subtlety only heard on top wired sets before. With those headphones you also get access to Dolby Atmos headphones, license included, by downloading on PC the corresponding software. In that mode, all movies with 5.1+ and of course Atmos output sound amazing. There are options to adjust for music or gaming, among a few others, and that do elevate (pun intended) the sound position when the source is well done. Truly working fine and comparing to my 7.2 calibrated home theater it is near exact, in fact for most indistinguishable. Final set of features come with the microphone that can easily be installed or remove, the plug is USB-S like but with a key to ensure proper direction. The mute button is right on it. The headphones do have a feature button by default on/off for active noise cancellation, a play/pause button that is also a toggle for forward/back. USB-C port for charging with clear indication with the light. Both ear pieces have a rolling metal rim for the volumes which is amazingly smooth to operate. On/Off/Bluetooth mode toggle. Clear indication of left/right inside each side. Mic with a color light for mute/unmute along with an audible on changes. Then with the software you can set and rotate light effect or sync with some games, if you are into that there is quite a lot of effects or you can make your own. If you do not use SoundID, you can set traditional equalizer, integrate Nvidia Broadcast if you have that brand video card and use the software to reassign the custom key to other functions, keyboard, mouse or whatever actions you like for the headphones, software, or PC. Background: I upgraded from a pair of Alienware AW510H 510H Wired 7.1 Gaming Headset USB, which retailed for around $99.99. So that gives you some idea what I'm comparing these to. My previous headphones never impressed me, and the sound was always subpar. Experience: When I got these and first loaded the ICUE app, I thought I had made a mistake. I thought the UI was bad. It took me about 15-20 minutes to get comfortable with it, but by the end of the day, I kind of sort of liked it. Pros: The headphones are not as bulky as my old wired Alienware headphones. They fit quite comfortably on my extra large head (24.75") The microphone sounds great. The sound quality when playing music is fantastic. They feel like they are of much higher quality than what I had before. At least 3x better, so worth it. Battery life is great, Fully charged they'll last, and if you need to you can charge them while wearing them by just using the USB charger. Cons: Options for replacement earpads is limited due to the different mounting system. So if you want different colors, or maybe thicker options, you're not going to find them on the market. Conclusion: Overall, I'm very much impressed with these headphones. They have significantly better sound quality and build compared to my previous ones. What can I say? I think it was worth it.
