I've had the opportunity to play with several of these android smart watches and have come to see the major differences between them. This watch does have a bigger screen than most of them and I would like it more if not for two things. First, the winding knob on the side doesn't work. It's just a button. perhaps I have a defective one, but if it is supposed to just spin that gives me the impression that it's cheap. The second issue is that this one doesn't come with a blood pressure monitor. It does come with a pair of water resistant sports straps and is waterproof for an extended swim, but the lack of functionality that is included with other less expensive watches is a deal breaker. The fitness watch is at a good price point and has some useful features for working out or exercising. the rubber band is flexible and comfortable. It does not pinch your wrist and has several different adjustments to it. The watch tracks your heart rate, blood pressure, and monitors your sleep. This watch at pair or sync with your smart phone. The watch had no battery life out of the box. A quick 30 minute charge got the watch up and working. The face seems plastic, so I would be careful not to scratch it. First, being blind, I need a device that talks to me, or at least allows me to interact with a voice assistant. This watch talks to me because my phone talks to me, which makes it useful. Although the Da Fit app this watch uses has its oddities and doesn't allow me to set some things that need a keyboard that doesn't pop up for me on my phone, it is overall usable enough to see my health stats and such. I even found that although I am not able to make calls from the watch because I am not able to see the screen, I figured out how to reliably answer an incoming call from the watch, or if I want, send the call to voicemail. Although I still need to pull the phone out of my pocket to do most things, I find the vibration on my wrist for notifications to be much easier to feel than the vibration from my phone in my pocket that I sometimes cannot feel. This watch has a very easy way of interacting with the voice assistant on my phone. I just hold in the long button for about 3 seconds, then tap the screen and talk. If I want to ask a follow-up question, I only need to tap the long button and then the screen and speak again. The problem with this is that I wanted to use Alexa on my phone, but it only appears to work properly when the screen is on and unlocked. I also made the mistake of choosing to open Alexa every time my voice assist button is activated on my watch. This unfortunately cannot be forgotten it seems, not even when I forget the watch in my bluetooth settings, remove it from Da Fit and add it to Da Fit again, which automatically requests pairing with the watch again. Sadly, I think the only thing I can do is uninstall and reinstall Alexa, which I still use for many other things, so I don't really want to reset it that way. I even tried switching my default digital assistant to Google, but this has no affect on the watch. Overall, this is a pretty good product, especially for the price, but I find that it may be better for me if the voice assistant is integrated with the watch instead of the phone, so four stars for otherwise solid performance. So typically i tend to follow the rule with tech that if its cheap in cost its cheaply made and will last alot less time then if you just spent the money buying the higher end product, but having the previous year model myself and loving the durabilty and multitude of functions had no such thought in mind here, after opening and getting the watch charged up i had my girlfriend read along with me the instructions for operation and care which are very simple to understand and easy to follow without any issues, it has a bright easy to read 2.1" display and has all of the health monitoring and fitness tracking capabilities as most of the high end products at a fraction of cost lightweight yet durable construction can be seen and felt right away, the phone app gives full access to customize the watch face and set the app notifications as well as tracking for health and fitness, the speaker for music and bluetooth phonecalls is far improved from last years model making it easier to understand the conversation, i was pleasantly surprised when opening the box and seeing there were 2 silicone bands inside which i did not see anywhere in the product description just making it a more appealing and exciting buy, the color is a nice soft tone that works with any wardrobe as a useful accessory overall id say the low cost makes it 5 stars because it has the durabilty, functions and appeal as any of the higher priced top of the line watches, im happy with everything i have seen and she is very happy and excited with the look, feel and functionality of the watch, plus the second band is an unexpected yet exciting addition, charges fairly quickly and each charge lasts a long time.
