This pan is a must have in your kitchen, it distributes heat throughout the whole pan. It's a pan large with lid. It's non-stick and really easy to cook with. I like it too because you can use metal spoons in it not just plastic on it. Metal spoons doesn't scratch it. Is dishwasher safe. And depending what you cook in it you can just wipe it out. This is a very nice T-Fal shallow pan with glass lid. The surface is non stick with a strange matrix but it seems to work well. I don't cook on high heat with this since it's non stick but the pan is a nice size and cleans up easily. Nice to have a glass top as well. Read more

I was very excited to be able to order this pan. T-Fal is a great brand, and I've already had good experiences with other brands of pans that have a similar type of non-stick finish. I must say that compared to the other brands I think T-Fal may have done it better. This pan is a beast, and the nonstick is real. I've only used this pan a couple of times, but I can tell it is going to be a favorite in my household. We made a double batch of boxed jambalaya last night and the pan could have easily held another box worth. This pan is great for stovetop meals. Something about this type of finish makes it so easy to brown meat or get a good sear. The pan heats evenly and quickly. I actually use a bit lower temps with this pan than I would with other styles of cookware, although it can handle high heat cooking. It is even oven safe up to 500 degrees. Perfect for the type of meals that start off on the cooktop and finish in the oven. The pan comes nicely boxed and requires no assembly. It feels very heavy duty. The handles are held on with rivets instead of screws, even the handle on the glass lid. I've had so many lid handles that continuously loosen, and that won't happen with this beauty. There are no special instructions about seasoning or use with this pan, the only paperwork is a QR code that leads to information about the lifetime warranty. This pan would be a wonderful gift to anyone who cooks, especially if they are cooking for a bunch of people. Clean up is a breeze with this pan. It is dishwasher safe, but I find it easier to give it a quick scrub in the sink. I haven't needed anything more than a bit of soap and a rag, but this pan's finish could handle a proper metal scrubber if needed. That is uncommon considering with most nonstick pans metal utensils are a no no. I'm really glad this pan arrived when it did. I used to use a deeeper stock pot to make my stews, but I used something like this at an AirBNB and fell in love with the size, and this T-Fall is the perfect version of it. Wider size makes it easier to brown lots of meats/protein before you start the stew, the wider opening also makes it easier to cook down a sauce, or you can cover it to slow down the evaporation.
