These are by far the best quality mic's I've had so far, sound quality is outstanding for the price. Sound is very clear and connects to the Iphone with no problems at all and the mic's can be charged whilst in the case which makes them very convienient. Build quality is very robust and made with very good quality plastics. Magnets rather than clips complete with mufflers to cut out excess wind noise which can alaways be a problem and these work incredibly well. So I bought this to just do content from my phone with good sound. Plugged it in and it worked right out of the box, nothing else needed. So easy! I love how small it is and it's not super visible on my shirt when worn on the inside via the magnets. It looks really nice in the videos. I bought it because it's supposed to last a long time compared to my other mic set and it definitely does! I haven't run it out yet and my rode wireless was 2 hours tops so I had to keep turning it on and off again. Such a pain so this is so much nicer. Read more

One of the first things that most video creators need to improve is their audio quality and this little kit is the perfect way to do it with zero hassle. The whole package is tiny and fits into any bag or a bigger pocket. I was a bit unsure about how they'd sound because I've had patchy experience with a few cheaper wireless mics, but I needn't have been worried - these are fantastic. They're a breeze to set up, and once they're paired you're away - there's an app if you want to adjust a few settings, but you probably won't need to, they work great straight out of the box. I do not think that products such as this one exist in a vacuum, and sometimes the best way to describe a product is to compare it with some product that has lots of reviews and is considered "popular". I will approach my review of this Godox from that exact angle — comparing with relatively new and hugely popular DJI Mic Mini. I have the small package of DJI with just one transmitter/mic, so I was looking for an alternative with two mics, for recording interviews. My use case is primarily with iPhone, less so with mirrorless camera; therefore receiver that plugs into phone is a big plus. The Godox arrives in a very nice packaging, and comes with a nice small storage case (apart from the yet smaller case for the transmitters and receivers). First impression is absolutely on par with DJI, regarding packaging and workmanship, and design. Then the big surprise for me was that Godox is even smaller. It doesn't have gain adjustment, admittedly, and is focused on using with a phone (mostly or only?), plugged into its USB-C port, but still the dimensions are incredibly small. The range is also the same as DJI as far as I can compare — easily over multiple brick walls in our house, and our entire garden (over 50 meters) in open space. More than you might possibly need for such product. The stability was excellent, in testing I did not notice any signal dropouts (I did analyse spectrogram after one hour long recording session). The sound quality, again, pretty indistinguishable from DJI Mic Mini, in my opinion; for my amateur needs the sound quality is more than enough, and much better for interview/talking than using iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max - the difference is mainly because with these tiny mics clipped to clothing you get almost zero echo, and the voice is cleaner and louder. Like with DJI recording inside I didn't feel the need to use the "dead cat" (term for wind muff), so I didn't test it, but I guess its effect on sound will be like always, slightly more muffled highs. What's better than DJI, for my use case, is the super cleverly designed slide-in-out recharging case... all the bits are neatly stored inside, and the feel from sliding it all out, and back in, is great. It really is a superb idea, well executed. Similarly great idea is to provide sheet of stickers to attach to the mics, to be able to quickly tell them apart or just personalise. Small detail, not expensive to do, but with nice effect. Overall, as you can guess, I do not have basically anything negative to say about the Godox... If you are looking for a mics for a similar use cases like mine, Godox offers a lot for a great price. It's very competitive product, coming from lesser known brand, but for amateur use you can't ask for much more. I love the engineering, small dimensions, and clever details.
