PROS: This monitor has good color, brightness, speed, etc. As an OLED, it really kicks the high price IPS monitors to the curb. I love the feature that puts the monitor in sleep mode after a selected number of minutes (or turn this feature off). CONS: I only have two issues. 1) there are two monitors with the same id's. Both say they are 27", but one says 26.5" in the ad, and there other says 27" in the add. I did not notice this until I made the purchase. 2) The message that floats on the screen says to "PRESS ANY KEY" to resume. This does not seem to work on my monitor, and I have to push the control on the back of the monitor (No biggie for me). I am so happy I bought when I did. The monitor price went up by $30 the next day, and continue at the higher price thereafter. I would still have purchased it at the higher prices since it was hundreds lower than other monitors of the same ilk. For under 200$, I like this 27" 1440p 180Hz KTC monitor. Before purchasing, I was comparing it with more popular brands but I decided on this brand as it had reviews giving this really good marks. I would say it does punch above its price bracket and it performs nicely as expected. With a capable graphics card I think it can go up to 180Hz refresh rate, but my setup only goes to 144Hz with the Display Port which still gives a nice visual feel. Based on an objective review I read, the monitor needs a bit of a parameter tune up to attain the correct colors and it is easily done. Cons: I found a dead pixel, but it is so far into a corner of the screen that I do not notice it. The original base mount is not height adjustable, but I have it mounted on a vesa desk frame and it sits much higher than oem. The bezel is not as thin as I thought it would be, it is around 7-8mm compared to the frame that is only 2mm thick. Finally I do see that it is a little bit dimmer on the bottom corners compared to the top corners and this is somewhat common from other online reviews. The model I received was the KTC H27T22C, it is not the H27T22S which are being reviewed by most tech reviewers. Positives: • Smooth & Responsive Gameplay at 144Hz refresh rate (180Hz if you are using it on a DP Cable). • Vibrant IPS Display – excellent color accuracy and wide viewing angles. The colors are rich, and the contrast is great. • Minimal Ghosting & Input Lag • Great Build Quality – The monitor has a sleek, modern design with thin bezels • The stand is very sturdy, made of metal. However, it tilts up or down only and no height adjustment. • Very bright panel, I keep it only at 60% brightness. • Good connectivity options. • Very cheap price for the quality and features it offers. • It comes with a free DP Cable. Negatives: • The 180Hz is achievable only if you use DP cable (unfortunately for me I use a laptop with HDMI out only). • It supports HDR but it’s a meh. • No Built-in Speakers – not a major issue for me since I use external speakers. • The default language is Arabic and I really struggled switching it to English. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this monitor. The brand was not known to me, so I I took a leap of faith getting it based on the mostly positive reviews. The 24-inch 2K QHD display has great colors right out of the box. It's also one of the few 24" monitors with a 2K resolution on Amazon. And it offers both HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 inputs AND GSYNC and FREESYNC, which is nuts at this price point. The settings menu is great, just a single-button at the rear of the monitor. This design is better than the clunky multi-button setups found on many competing monitors. The only drawback I encountered was that the on-screen menu was limited to Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic, with no English option. Fortunately, the Italian menu is somewhat similar to English, so I was able to navigate through the settings without much trouble. However, that was pretty weird, not having English in the menu language. Overall, I rate this monitor a solid 4.5 stars. Its performance and features are outstanding, especially for the price, but the language limitation in the menu prevents a perfect score. Read more

Having used it for just over a week, my experience has been very positive. It's an OLED screen with a matte finish, so I'm getting the brilliant colours with deep inky blacks with minimal glare. The built-in speakers are surprisingly good (obviously not audiophile-class audio but certainly better than any other built-in monitor speakers I've come across). The port selection is good with the HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and having a USB-C with 65W PD is especially helpful. However, there are some things to bear in mind. This is a WOLED display so I was expecting some fringing around text, but I was a little disappointed with how visible it was. I was able to slightly mitigate it by using the Windows ClearType tool but it is still quite visible. While this won't be an issue in games or movies, it is quite prevalent while browsing or in most productivity activities. One other thing I noticed was the Venetian-blinds effect, which can be most apparent in dark but not black scenes. This is something we have to accept as part of OLED technology but it can vary in degrees from monitor to monitor; in my case it is visisble but not so terrible that I'd return the monitor. Beyond these caveats, I'm quite happy with the monitor and plan to keep it. Bear in mind, I have only used it for just over a week so I'll be keeping an eye on it over the next few months for any potential issues (e.g. burn-in etc.) and update my review accordingly. I bought this 1440p 32” curved 165hz model to replace my 1080p LG game gear 27” that died suddenly after a disappointingly short 3 years. I paid $100 more for the LG and this kTC is superior in every way except one very small detail: the stand only tilts, there’s no height, or rotation adjustment, (neither monitor would swivel), but it does support VESA mounting so you could remedy that for a bit of extra investment. It even came with nice stand-off screws to make sure clearance with VESA mounting wouldn’t be a problem. The stand it comes with isn’t bad though. It’s solid metal, probably aluminum, but also feels just a bit light compared to the screen itself. It’s enough to get the job done though and has rubber anti-skid pads that keep it from moving around. Even though this is a VA type LCD, the colors are great. They’re at least as good as the color performance on my LG monitor which was IPS. Blacks and contrast are superior on the KTC in HDR mode. Ghosting is better than the LG. It’s s a noticeably easier to see details in textures and objects in motion even with FSR3 and frame generation on, and there’s very very little perceptible blur. Pixel density seems sharper to me on the KTC. I expected that since I going from 27” 1080 to 32” 1440, the pixel density would work out to be about the same, but it’s better than I expected. As some others have pointed out: if you’re not using display port you’re missing out on features. Variable Refresh Rate doesn’t work on HDMI (even though it should, I think), and you cannot reach 165hz refresh. Mine was limited to 120 but ymmv. In display port mode, everything works as advertised for me. Also of note, HDR does work fairly well on this panel, at least in the one that I received. I’ve noticed very sharp colors and contrast in HDR mode but one thing you HAVE to do is set HDR to “Auto” in the monitors OSD settings. If you leave HDR set to “off” and try to enable your HDR option in windows or games it totally ruins the colors and contrast. The only down side is that according to windows display options, the advertised peak brightness of the panel 301 nits (oddly specific, I thought), which isn’t HDR10, but I personally still prefer it in HDR over standard. The HDR quality on my LG monitor doesn’t even compare to this one. Keep in mind that my 5-star rating is relative to its price to performance ratio. This screen isn’t going to compete with OLED or maybe even micro-LED, but at this price it seems to me to be as good as it gets. One slight discrepancy in the description is that the listing on Amazon said the screen has a glossy finish, but the finish on mine is just as flat and anti-glare as any other screen I’ve used. First off, considering the price, this is a very good buy. No issues with the PS5’s 120Hz mode. On PC, I use DP and it works very well. There’s a slight issue with ghosting in games like EA FC. It isn’t huge and I think with some adjustments in the settings you can get rid of it but I haven’t tried. Many connectivity options which is definitely welcome. This monitor is very nice it’s got a decent curve with no ghosting that I’ve seen and overdrive set to advance works nicely! 120 fps works great …also the monitor will run 2160p at 60hz on gaming console and computer i checked the fps counter and the picture settings during game play and on pc display settings it showed 2160 60hz . I saw some reviews and came to find HDR doesn’t work that great basvislly it makes your picture dark for some reason … I turned it off enabled a color filter on console and adjusted the monitor color and it’s very bright and vibrant Monitor will support gsync and free sync as listed but will Not support VRR or ALL on PS5 I since switched to Xbox and This monitor works way better with the Xbox series x the freesync works with it when it wouldnt work on ps5 it said my tv didnt support it ... also it just looks way better and I can notice thr 120 even more on the Xbox series x on this display. The KTC 32 inch curved monitor is a monster step-up and a welcome addition to my home office from the ten year old plus 22 inch VIZIO monitor I was still using at home. While I’m not a gamer by any stretch of the imagination, this monitor was a solid middle-of-the-road option at a fairly competitive price and generally fits what I was looking for in a jack-of-all trades monitor. The monitor’s picture is sharp and clear whether looking at pictures, videos, word processing, or even a game. The Full Height Definition (FHD) 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) displays everything I’ve wanted to lock at, including the WINDOWS 11 screensaver beautifully. The monitor attributes, as listed in the Amazon Product Description section, are pretty much spot on from what I can tell to include ethe refresh rate which is far superior to my old monitor. Monitor set up was a breeze as I mounted it on the included base. There is some vertical tilt when assembled on its stand to better adjust to chair height but it’s a stretch to call it adjustable in this configuration. It’s definitely easier to adjust the chair height, if possible, than the monitor angle in my mind. There is also the wall mount option for those who have the room to do such a mount which would make it considerably more configurable depending upon the mount selected. The included 3 foot HDMI cable works well and I have no complaints. The “quick start” instructions did a decent job walking me through the entire set-up and I was up and connected to my docking station in minutes. Over all, I love this monitor and am extremely happy that I ordered it. It has made working in my home office almost enjoyable again and looks great sitting on my computer desk. I realize most will buy this monitor for its gaming abilities but for me, it’s great for all my basic automated projects such as word processing and spreadsheets, photo editing, and watching videos, especially when in split screen mode. This monitor has to be one of the best looking and responsive VA panels I've ever seen. Colors are accurate, no blurring in the UFO test at all. There's a small issue, the menu on the screen came only in Arabic, Chinese or Korean which might be difficult to navigate if you don't speak any of those languages. Another point which I would like to mention is KTC removed their firmware from the official website and you are stuck with the software version on your monitor as it is. Received the product in great condition and it's exactly as advertised. You will not find something with these specifications for this price anywhere else. 27", 1440p@180hz and great colors right out of the box, no calibration needed. Great response times, no ghosting or black smearing, no input lag. Gsync works like a charm. OSD is extensive and has a lot of settings but is easy to use. Build quality is good and the base is metal. I haven't tested HDR yet but it's there, and I doubt it's great because only OLED can provide true HDR. But still, it's there in case you want to play with it. Only negative I can think of is the lack of swivel or height adjustment (you can only tilt it), but honestly, for the price I paid I can't really complain about that, and I don't even care about those features anyway. Overall, I highly recommend it. This has to be the new king of budget 1440p monitors. Read more
