I've never been a necklace person. I think I only ever owed one once a long time ago. I've been thinking for a while about adding a Viking or Celtic theme necklace of some kind, and when I saw this one and that it came in my birthstone color, I knew it was time to try it. It has a pleasant weight and seems to be just the right size and shape for what I was looking for. I chose the black finish with green stone to keep it low-key and also to blend in with some other accessories I already have. The black finish seems very well done initially. We'll have to wait and see how it holds up over time. If that's a concern for others, then there's the stainless steel versions available where you don't have to worry about the finish becoming damaged.
