Are you looking for an affordable way to start making quality content? If yes, then start with audio. I can watch 1080p all day, no problem, but if I hear that echo from a bare room, or you're fifteen feet away from the camera and screaming so as to try and reach the cameras microphones, I'm out. Clicking away. I know you've experienced this too. The DJI Mic Mini offers you a very fair price to start a podcast, create video content, and impress your mom. Opening this brought a lot of excitement, mostly, I just love good products, but I had a lot anticipation as to what the Mic Mini was going to provide. It comes with two microphone transmitters, a receiver, the charging case, two types of wind screens (two grey for superior wind reduction and two black for discreteness), usb a to c charging cable, a TRRS audio cable, and a nifty little travel bag to store it all in. The charging case is small enough to fit in your pocket, but you wouldn't want to leave it there. Everything is plastic, but it doesn't feel cheap. The design seems to have a lot of thought put into it. For starters, the full package comes with a small usb c adapter that slides onto the bottom of the receiver, allowing you to connect this to any device that has a type c usb, this comes stored along the back wall of the charging case. It not only stores the adapter, but also doubles as a place to hold the tiny cover removed in order to attach the adapter. The best part? You don't have to remove the adapter from the bottom of the receiver to put it back into the case! I thought this was so cool. So if you only use the receiver with the type c adapter attached, you can treat it as such without the hassle of removing it each time as the case has a hollowed out portion along the bottom of it that allows the receiver to slide into it's dock, trouble free. There is also a duplicate storage section along that back of the wall of the charging case plugged with a rubber grommet you could use for a second adapter, maybe you're still using an iPhone with a lightning port or something. Another great feature I thought was cool is that you can monitor the audio coming out of the microphone by plugging any ol' set of headphones into the receiver. This allows you to hear what it sounds like as you record! I am so happy with this product. The day I got it, the very hour I opened it up and attached it to my phone, the microphone worked. The receiver and transmitters link themselves through the charging case and I didn't have to fumble through an app to get it setup. Which, if you're like me, I am hesitant to install another app on my phone, it means a lot. The DJI Mic Mini can be operated using a majority of it's features, like recording in mono vs stereo, enabling the sound suppression, and pairing itself to other bluetooth devices with the interaction of buttons on the transmitter and receivers. Now, there are things that can't be done without the DJI Mimo App, like a second level of noise suppression, and recording in mono with a safety track, but if you just want it to get up and running and have most of what you need to record a video. The app-less capabilities are great. I didn't think battery life was gonna be one of my favorite features, but while going over material to make my review on the DJI Mic Mini, I realized how long the transmitters themselves, the receiver, and the case last on one charge. Precisely for the fact that I haven't charged this since it came out of the box. A weekend warrior here, so i've only used it for projects during my time off, but still, I would say that i've recorded over 10 hours of footage with it. My wife also used it for a two hour virtual workshop, ten hours isn't a lot, but considering that i've had to replace 10 batteries through my camera during that time, the DJI Mic Mini charging case combo saves me time. To be honest, I can't think of any downsides. Maybe the fact that it doesn't have onboard internal recording as backup, 32 bit float for audio clipping, or the best bluetooth connectivity (as others have reported), and if that is the case then you need to be looking at the DJI Mic 2, which features all these things in the same from factor as the bundled version of the DJI Mic Mini in a charging case. Or maybe I want the advanced noise suppression and microphone controls without the app, but that might be asking a lot and I should just download it. Couple this with a modern smartphone and you have the ability to reach millions of people. Think about how many shorts, reels, and tiktoks you've seen with just someone holding a wireless mic. I bet you a large portion uses one from DJI. This brand is reputable and there a lot of people who attest to their quality and their price to performance ratios. If you're a noob, or even a seasoned content creator, the DJI Mic Mini is right for you. Whether I'm vlogging, streaming, or shooting with my came-ra or phone—works with both iPhone and Android—the sound's always bright and clear. The way light and portable it is is wonderful. Its compact form makes transportation of it simple. Moreover, the charging case I have guarantees I'm set to record, running up to 48 hours without recharging. Calidad de sonido: Graba en estéreo con un solo micrófono Una de las cosas que más me ha sorprendido y que realmente marca la diferencia respecto a otros sistemas de micrófonos inalámbricos, como los Rode Wireless GO, es que con un solo micrófono ya graba en estéreo. I actually got mic mini then I decided to get the gimbal to just have same DJI products for best outcome however I believe they are not compatible 😂😤 if both connected to the phone then the osmo mobile 6 hangs 🥴 zoom won’t work, record want to work from gimbal. The omnidirectional pickup pattern captured clear, rich audio, while the two-level noise cancellation effectively suppressed ambient sounds coming through the air vents. Outdoors, I paired it with the included windscreen (which was indispensable to minimizing interference) to shoot a vlog downtown. While the noise cancellation excelled in reducing background chatter, it slightly flattened the voice’s natural tonal quality. I understand that this might be a downside in exchange for enhanced clarity. Compared to the DJI Mic 2, the Mini is noticeably lighter and easier to mount discreetly, but it lacks internal recording capabilities, which would have been handy for backup. The Mini also falls short on range. While DJI advertises up to 400 meters, I experienced occasional dropouts beyond 100 meters in obstructed environments. Against the Rode Wireless GO II, the Mini holds its ground with comparable audio quality but trails in terms of app-driven customizations and dual-channel recording versatility. These microphones from DJI feature great build quality and outstanding audio. Using them has been a pleasant and relatively painless experience. To start this off, the 2 microphones (transmitters) and 1 receiver come in their own charging case, with up to 48 hours of battery. You also get a soft carrying case to hold the two microphones stored in the charging case. Included are two sets of windscreens which are useful for outdoor windy situations, or a moving subject. If you are recording indoors, you may not need them if you are in an quiet room with no draft. You also get your main receiver which has the ability to attach to either a phone or a camera. If you want to attach it to your phone, you can use the USB C quick attachment to connect the phone to the device. I wish the booklet of instructions was more complete. I had to scan the QR code for further instructions which required me to download the DJI app as well. The app does let you control a lot more settings, so it's pretty much a requirement. This is little bit of a downside for me, as I plan to use this with my camera. So I need: my phone, my camera, and my DJI mics. At least if I want to edit the settings on-the-fly. Which you probably will need to do, the noise cancelling settings are extensive. After installing the windscreen/windsock component, I found it difficult to remove. The booklet shows an arrow pointing upward. It took me a minute or two figure out how to get it to release from the microphone. Setting up the mic on your subject is simple, you can either clip the mic to a shirt or use the magnet provided and put the magnet on the inside of your subjects shirt to hold it anywhere on almost any fabric. Although only one small microphone is needed per person, it is heavy enough to pull down the collar of a thin t-shirt, so I like the magnet better. If you are wearing a dress shirt however the clip works well and will not crease the shirt. Synchronization of both microphone and transmitter are simple with the click of the synchronization buttons on the side of the devices. However, you will want to download the DJI Mic App as this will allow you to make adjustments to the settings. You can turn on noise cancelling to help reduce outside noise while recording and you can control the volume through the dial located on the side of the transmitter. You can record using your phone if you attach the USB-C attachment tool via the receiver to the USB C port on your phone. If you have an iPhone lightning port, you will need to buy an adapter. Please note if your USB C phone Port is dirty, this may cause the USBC component to be loose which can cause the transmitter to disconnect from the phone mid recording, a bit of a pain. You can connect the receiver to your camera as well by just placing the it on the shoe located on top of the camera. This is my preferred set-up. Being USB C, this also works with a laptop, a computer, DJI drones, and I'm sure a bunch of other devices. The sound quality is outstanding, however it does pick up background noise fairly easily. This is why it is recommended to turn on the noise canceling feature and record in a closed room if you need quiet such as for an interview. The noise cancelling feature works very well, although it is perhaps not the best microphone noise cancelling system on the market, it is certainly quite capable for a product in this price range. DJI è uno di quei marchi che non ha bisogno delle mie presentazioni, sono molto noti per la produzione di droni di qualità veramente elevata, action camera, e negli ultimi tempi stanno spingendo di più anche sul versante dei microfoni. Questi sono i classici in stile Lavalier che tanto si usano per contenuti di vlog o per enfatizzare l'audio in alcune tipologie di riprese. Ho provato varie tipologie di questi microfoni, anche prodotti molto più economici ma questi hanno proprio una marcia in più. Innanzitutto vi spiego cosa fa questo prodotto nello specifico. Si tratta di un doppio registratore wireless, sostanzialmente due microfoni, con annesso trasmettitore. Quest'ultima parte è già pronta per collegarsi senza fili a tutto l'ecosistema DJI e quindi direttamente ai loro droni o action camera. Tuttavia si collega senza problemi al vostro smartphone o al vostro PC semplicemente utilizzando il comodo adattatore (essenzialmente uno spinotto USB-C) presente in confezione. Anche il trasmettitore è dotato di una batteria interna ma sarà possibile, per sessioni più lunghe, collegarlo in corrente o a ad una power bank ed in questo modo poter in contemporanea anche il cellulare tramite la porta passante. Il microfono, uno dei due o entrambi, andrà posizionato dove più vi abbisogna o, preferibilmente, direttamente addosso alla persona di cui volete sentire l'audio. Sono entrambi dotati sia di clip che di attacco magnetico rendendo il tutto molto più semplice. Immaginate, per esempio, una ripresa da molto lontano: non riuscireste a sentire chiaramente, ma a volte non riuscireste a sentire e basta, cosa sta dicendo la persona inquadrata da lontano. Tramite questa tipologia di microfono si ovvia a questo problema ed avrete una riproduzione sonora il più delle volte limpida e cristallina ma comunque sempre superiore a quella del microfono integrato a prescindere dal dispositivo utilizzato per le riprese. Vale anche per i top di gamma. A distanza ravvicinata questo microfono cattura veramente bene tutti i suoni, con una piccola attenzione in più verso le voci. Non mi reputo un esperto del settore del videomaking, alla fine non sono un professionista nonostante sia capitato di realizzare qualche progetto più importante: diciamo che preferisco adoperarmi per riprese e foto che riguardano la vita privata, le amicizie e via discorrendo. Un prodotto del genere mi consente magari di riprendere una seduta di laurea e di "microfonare" il candidato in modo tale da avere il suo audio bello nitido pur tenendomi a debita distanza. Cosa intendo per audio nitido? Che si sentirà bene, più che bene, sia cosa dice il candidato che la commissione pur, magari, facendo le riprese nella platea mentre sono circondato da persone che urlano o fanno rumore. Questo perché il microfono non sarà con me ma direttamente addosso alla persona di cui vogliamo sentire la voce. Un vantaggio non da poco anche per le varie cerimonie religiose. La qualità del sonoro di questi microfoni DJI è tra le migliori che abbia provato in questo settore di micro-microfoni, non ho perso una parola e soprattutto la copertura antivento aiuta a ridurre anche l'eventuale fruscio. Essendo inoltre il microfono molto piccolo e con una clip bella salda si evita che magari possa sentirsi qualche rumore molesto (per esempio strusciando sulla giacca, ci sono alcuni microfoni che creano un vero frastuono). Tra l'altro abbiamo anche i cordini per attaccare il microfono al collo, di sicuro in casa DJI non mancavano idee e soluzioni. Trovo poi comoda la ricarica rapida con USB-C, bastano infatti solo cinque minuti con il caricatore per avere a disposizione ben un'ora di autonomia. Tra l'altro le batterie completamente cariche consentono di lavorare ininterrottamente per ore ed ore consentendo di essere operativi per qualunque evento vi si possa parare davanti. In coppia con la DJI Osmo Pocket 3 poi ci troviamo davanti a qualcosa di superlativo, una connessione veramente rapida e stabile: non per nulla i due prodotti sono realizzati per lavorare in combinazione. Se vi servono dei microfoni generici con cui lavorare su ogni piattaforma che supporti USB-C questi sono ottimi ma se avete già dispositivi DJI allora questi microfoni sono praticamente necessari. Veramente ben realizzati. NOTA: Una volta inserito il trasmettitore nel cellulare NON avrete più la possibilità di sentire l'audio dei video che avete girato o l'audio in generale perché il telefono penserà che abbiate attaccato delle cuffie o altoparlante. Basta rimuovere il trasmettitore dalla porta USB del telefono e l'audio ritornerà a sentirsi normalmente dal cellulare, non dovrete fare altro. Read more

Alors je vais avoir besoin de cet outil pour faire de la vidéo à partir de mon téléphone de manière à améliorer la prise de son et à pouvoir gérer une situation comme une interview par exemple. La boîte contient: _une pochette qui permet de tout ranger avec des rangements internes malgré sa taille compacte _une mode d'emploi rapide et on peut télécharger une notice plus complète pour les réglages sur la base. _un coffret costaud de charge (c'est lui qui permet l'autonomie monstrueuse de l'ensemble et on a une fonction 5mn de charge pour une heure d'utilisation, ouf) _deux micros qui se mettent en route et se connectent automatiquement _un lot de 2 bonnettes grises et 2 bonnettes noires adaptées _un câble de charge _un câble de connexion pour caméra _un adaptateur USB C pour les téléphones Android Pour le mettre sur mon téléphone Android, j'ai juste eu besoin de retirer une petite trappe sur la base pour mettre l'adaptateur pour téléphone. Ensuite il suffit d'enregistrer, les micros se connectent tous seuls. Le son est top, vraiment qualitatif et même très près on a aucun souci de souffle, surtout avec la bonnette, la voix est clair et le bruit environnant super bien filtré. The receiver plugs right into your phone via usb ( they have an apple adapter available separately, or likely other models are available for iPhones). High quality beautiful charging case that pairs everything automatically. The mics can be clipped on, or even better attached with a magnet. Sound quality is excellent out of the box.
