I’ve been using the Rechargeable Green Beam Light & Flashlight [001] for a couple of weeks, mainly for outdoor activities and indoor presentations. The green beam is bright and works well over long distances. Outdoors, it’s visible at several hundred yards in clear conditions, and indoors, it performs well on LED and LCD screens without creating glare. I also used it during some light construction work, and it helped with marking points across a room. The flashlight mode is functional but not as bright as a specialized tactical flashlight. It’s adequate for casual use, like walking at night or finding items in a dark space, but it’s not designed for heavy-duty applications. The build quality feels durable, with an aluminum body that is sturdy without being cumbersome. The beam adjustment mechanism is smooth, and the size makes it easy to carry in a pocket or bag. Battery life is one area that could be better. It lasts for a few hours with intermittent use, but extended sessions, especially with the green beam, require recharging sooner than expected. The USB charging feature is convenient, and the recharge time is reasonable. However, it isn’t waterproof, so it’s best suited for dry conditions or light rain. The flashlight mode could also benefit from a little more brightness. The controls are straightforward, and switching between the flashlight and green beam modes is easy. The included lanyard is a practical addition for carrying it securely. Overall, it’s a reliable tool for presentations, basic flashlight tasks, and outdoor use where long-distance visibility is important. While the battery life and waterproofing could be improved, it performs well for what it’s designed to do.
