My need was VERY specific due to the type of motherboard. This worked well, and suits my case perfectly. I REALLY like that you only have the cables you need and don't have a spaghetti to deal with of spare not required loose ends. Only very minor complaint is the previous PSU had an earthing strap which prevented a switch off thump from the permanently plugged in audio amplifier. Now I get the thump every time. I think the quality of the RM850x is excellent, done 2 builds with these using a Ryzen 5950x and a 5700x3d and a RTX 4060, the wattage draw is minimal in idle mode, it uses the same or less than a old HP laptop I ditched when I am doing non intensive work. Is super quiet. The supplied cabling is great and makes undertaking a build super easy. I would always pay a bit extra to install these over something else. Read more
