This is essentially the same as a TBLeague or Phicen body. Same feel, same articulation, same everything. Even the suntan coloring is the same weird shade. Not a bad thing considering TBL is the gold standard. However, it's odd that it costs as much as a TBL body if it's a KO. It's a pretty standard doll for all those sets of movie or game related clothing you can buy for it. The price is about the same I see for similar items, so not a great deal but not overpriced, either. It comes with a lot of hands to change out but the feet are a part of the seamless body design so keep that in mind, you can't change those out for boots, etc. I've bought a male and female doll before and this was the first one with detailed airbrushing in areas around the body, which does add to the realism a bit. Another thing to keep in mind is the box has this warning on it that says something like "Adult Collectible. Not a Toy. 18+" or whatever, and the art is a big silhouette of a naked girl. Makes it look like some weird sex toy in some ways, so you might want to request it gets sent in an Amazon box if you care. Mine was sent in original packaging only, so God knows what my delivery guy thinks I ordered. Otherwise it's the correct size and should work with whatever theme you want to go with. I was really impressed with the articulation of this figure. The internal skeleton really allowed for amazing poses with many visible joints. However, the hands and feet plastic color looked just a bit off. However, the largest issue is that, since a head isn't included, finding one that matches the skin tone is a bit challenging. Note: This figure does not come with a head or dress—only the body and a randomly colored bikini. While this is clearly stated in the product details, the promotional images do show a head and dress. The figure features a sturdy metal skeleton and is highly articulated, boasting 28 movable joints. It can replicate nearly any human pose. However, I was unable to get it to stand on its own, and no stand is included, so you'll need to find a way to keep it propped up. The included posing instructions are detailed and come in a printed sheet, which I have scanned and attached to this review. The skin material is listed as TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), which has a rubbery, flesh-like feel similar to silicone. It appears to be of good quality and retains its shape well, though only time will tell how durable it is. The articulation guide warns against bending joints beyond 180 degrees, likely to prevent damage or tearing. Unfortunately, no care instructions are provided, which would have been helpful. Also, note that the figure is anatomically correct. While not overly detailed, this adds a touch of realism, making it more cohesive with the overall design compared to the unrealistic omissions seen in children's toys. While the figure is mostly seamless, there are noticeable seams at the wrists due to the interchangeable hard plastic hands. I think the feet should have been made of the same hard plastic—this would help the figure stand more easily and allow for removable feet that could accommodate high heels. Interestingly, the instructions mention that the feet are removable, and the packaging even has empty slots for extra feet, but the included feet are made of TPE and are not detachable. I received the tan skin tone, and while it looks decent, it has a slightly grayish, lifeless appearance. There are some pinkish blush accents on areas like the knees and back crease, but they don’t look entirely natural. Replicating a realistic tan skin tone is understandably difficult. The figure comes with a randomly colored bikini—mine was red. It looks nice, though I don’t love that it requires tying. However, this might be for the best, as alternatives like Velcro would add bulk, and a spandex option that requires stretching over the figure could risk damage. I hava a few of these style figures that I use for drawing. Every time a new one is released, I find myself wanting to invest in the next figures to see what updates to the realism come with the increased technology in molding. This figure is great and has a few really neat improvements over the figures that I currently use most often. For one thing, the figure features a neat paint job that makes the figure slightly more realistic while having the side effect of clearly demonstrating the joints of the figure in places like the arms. This is useful because, as we all may know, attempting to bend the figure in the wrong way because you misunderstood the placement of a joint can damage a figure. While, for drawing purposes, I really tend to like figures with more detailed musculature, this figure has a shapely silhouette that is very useful for drawing. For those who may be new to figures like this, the figures are extremely poseable and do a peerless job holding a pose once it has been determined. I can't recommend this enough for artists who know how useless a traditional artists mannequin can be in the modern day. Read more
