This review is for the ‘black grommet’ style of belt. Sized up because the seller appears to be a Chinese brand, but that… was a big mistake. This belt is true to size! Length of the XL from the buckle to the last grommet is about 50 inches, so it should definitely fit some 47 inch-waisted pants, as promised. Tested this out on a particularly heavy pair of denim pants and it stayed put and did its job nicely- had to thread it through quite a few loops, though (seriously- get your regular size!) I’m not much of a belt person (so my familiarity with the subject is pretty minimal,) but someone who wears through belts on a pretty regular basis assured me that the grommets are very likely to make this belt last much longer, and that the leather itself looks pretty good, too. I have already noticed a few very minor scuffs on said leather (had it for about 2 weeks, worn it out once,) but no bends or creases. Time will tell how well it holds out, but so far- it looks like the picture, does a good job, and is generously sized.
