This puzzle is challenging! It has been a lot of fun so far! The artwork on the puzzle itself is stunning and very detailed. I also appreciate that the back of the puzzle is color blocked, so in the event you are unsure if something fits together you can do a quick check by looking at the back of the pieces. Amazing Japanese art puzzles. The art is a good replica of the original. The detail of the wave and the boat and Mt. Fuji are well represented. Each puzzle is painted well and build well. When I saw "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa" in jigsaw puzzle form, I knew I wanted to try my hand at piecing puzzles together (or get some help from others in my family!). This block print by by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai is one of my favorite works of art. I have it as a screensaver on several devices. The pieces of this puzzle do NOT have any letters on the back so it should be challenging to put together--wish me luck! It will take me some time to complete the puzzle so I hope all of the pieces are there in the box but it's nice to know that the company has a missing pieces support policy! Recommended! Read more

I ordered this seemingly gorgeous item, with the intended purpose to gift it within our family, for its beautiful, famous Japanese art, including the wave on the box cover. Unfortunately the box came in an APPALLING, damaged condition -- it was ruined. What a shame. This item should've been packaged appropriately to respect the value of its contents. The puzzle itself is fine. It's nice, too, to have the 'hints' on the back for children to get a head start. So, I recommend it if you don't care about a potentially damaged box. That said, I wish I could recommend this puzzle for gifting or one's own pleasure that includes its container... and would've been happy to recommend, had its box -- which is a perk of the product -- not been ridiculously damaged. I like the feel of these puzzle pieces. Well made, not cheap. The fit together very nicely and the colors of this puzzles are pretty. I like the back sides being different colored as well so easy to identify and flip. This is a nice puzzle, with sheet of design included. The box it comes in is pretty small and kind of cheaply made, pieces barely fit into it. I would definitely buy this again though as the puzzle itself is nicely made. No missing pieces. The puzzle is thicker so the pieces done bend or the tops peel off when putting together. Definitely a more difficult time consuming puzzle to put together as the photo only has a few color schemes to it. Read more
