Sono diversi anni che uso i kit Bricksmax per illuminare i set Lego che acquisto. Occorre armarsi di tanta pazienza ( non è facile l'installazione a causa della miniaturizzazione dei componenti) ma, si viene ripagati dal risultato finale. Unico appunto, per alcuni collegamenti sarebbe stato meglio avere a disposizione cavetti più lunghi. Vista la delicatezza di tutte le componenti, avere nel kit, uno o due cavetti di scorta non sarebbe male. First of all, I’m a mechanical engineering technologist, so trust me when I say I wired this kit correctly and was VERY careful not to damage any of the components during installation. A couple of years ago, I purchased the Briksmax lighting kit for my Lego Millennium Falcon, and it works beautifully. Not one single performance issue. This kit was a total dud, and I don’t mean a wire or two. Lego Rivendell is three different sections once completed, and I plugged the battery kit into expansion boards in each section. Nothing lit up except for one single LED strip in the middle section. This means there are systemic issues. Multiple wires are probably junk, and possibly multiple expansion boards are faulty too. Without testing each expansion board (which I’m not going to do, because I’m frustrated, and I don’t want to waste any more time on this project), I have no idea if the LEDs themselves are garbage as well. I’ve contacted Briksmax and may revise this review, depending on their response. My advice: enjoy Rivendell as is, without the lighting kit. It’s a beautiful Lego set and was a blast to assemble.
