This is a really nice-looking keyboard and mouse. Both items are so comfortable to use. There is just one dongle to put in the USB port that communicates with both the keyboard and mouse. Both have power ports that allow for use while plugged in. So, no more searching for batteries or not being about to use the devices if the batteries run out of power. You can just plug them in and keep working. The mouse has a grid on the top which keeps your hand ventilated, so your hand does not sweat. The keyboard has different brightness and light settings for lighting up the keys. I recommend using the lights as the labels on the keys are not very visible without the lights. It is reasonably compact for sticking in a laptop case and traveling. Note that it does not have the separate number keypad off to the right. All and all a good set. Read more

What I liked most about this keyboard and mouse is they are portable, and that was key. The units operate independent of one another, and seamlessly together. I have used it for controlling my laptop while connected to my projector and controlling a movie, I have used it for multiple gaming sessions on PC and PS5, and I used it for work. I have tested it up to 20ft from receiver, and they both work flawless. The LED keyboard just doesn't get enough light into the key, and I have a hard time reading the keys in different lighting situations. Brighter the area, harder to see. The keyboard lights up in 3 sections, and it has a few lighting modes which are dimmable and can be turned off all together. LEDs for the mouse is cool, and it does have an option to be on or off. The mouse is a little smaller than what I normally use, and it needs a coating or more texture to grip it better. The hex within hex design is very cool and they added an LED logo inside which unfortunately gets lost, but cool over all. I wish I new which resolution the mouse was in during gaming, there were times I accidentally changed it, and was all over or too slow. Hard to gage battery life on these devices these days as they last up to a month or more for devices I have used. The one thing that bugs me with the mouse, it shuts off way too soon. I'll be in a gaming session and the mouse will have went into standby. Which it comes back to life fast enough, but it is unacceptable for FPS gaming. Both components are responsive, and best of all the keyboard is not obnoxiously clicky. The key strokes are soft, but tactile. This keyboard is very petite and the backlights are very bright. The colors definitely do the rainbow justice. The mouse, however, feels a bit light and cheap. I wanted to love this keyboard more than I did. I love rainbow and having the ability to recharge (instead of change batteries constantly) was a major turn on. However, after unboxing, I just couldn't get the hand of it. It's not as low of a profile as my other keyboard and it is much smaller, so I just found that I struggled to type correctly and my hands started hurting pretty quickly from having to adjust how I typed. If this came in a lower profile and was a bit bigger, I think it would have been a homerun. But, if you don't mind a higher profile and are looking for a smaller keyboard, this might be a good fit for you! Read more

This is my second Red Thunder Keyboard/Mouse combo. This time I bought the Black-white color. Using it a couple of day and I realize I would have liked the white-white combo a bit better. -Reason: If you are not 'using' the lights, the black keys do not show the letters on the keys well enough. I'll have to always use the lighting, even at a low-level light for seeing the key letters. I really like both - the other if a full-keyboard (with the numeric pad.) I got this second one a a 'space saver' as I routinely bounce between using two computers during the day. - This one goes well with my Lenovo ThinkPad lap top and transports easier than the 'full' keyboard. One big point (down) - the seller did not include a USB cable. What/Why? Good thing I already had a cable to use to charge the mouse and keyboard. Read more
