This board looks great and does the job exactly as advertised, but some little quirks. The board does everything that it is supposed to do. The XMP is a great feature, works with LGA 1700 as expected, the connectors are all solid and the board overall seems very well made. My qualms come from the fact that it doesn't have any hardware with it. No screws, no standoffs, no manual. Also, the board doesn't have an RGB header and I would have liked one more USB header. First, it's a beautiful motherboard but... Put a brand new i7 12700KF on it... did nothing but powered on fans. Tried flash cmos...just basics to test, even switch rams...nothing. Not my first circus building systems, and I'm not perfect either but I mean...brand new Motherboard, ram, psu, i7 all sealed up... I'd like to start with good words about the brand Huananzhi itself. There are no good words for the current item B660 mini ITX motherboard. 1. It's Q670. Maybe it's important, maybe not. 2. It doesn't run any XMP profile. I have 2kits of TridentZ (3200 and 3600). None of them works proper. One time I got 3200 working on 3200mhz. Then I tried to put 3600 and everything got wasted. I made a lot of attempts to adjust it, change timings, put 1 ram stick. But timings order is different from the standard one (it's up to Huananzhi engineers). Some timings I couldn't set. Long story short. It works flawlessly on the BASIC 2133MHz. Thanks, I don't need it. 3. If you put your gfx you may have problem with dual gfx mode. Your in-built gfx might be not working. So no video encoding help with 13600 inbuilt gfx. Thanks. I didn't check other important features, like raid, but I already have enough to get it back and buy something stable. This is my first experience with a board from this company. I looked them up and they seem to offer a wide variety of motherboards. This board targets the LGA1700 socket, and it appears to be a perfectly adequate but no frills board. Right out of the box I was disappointed by the lack of pretty much everything I normally see in a box. You get the board, IO plate, and 1 SATA cable. No manual, no hardware. Luckily I have plenty lying around, but not a good start. The specs on the board are fine, if not a bit dated at this point. The B660 chipset does support 13th gen CPUs, but as I highly doubt this board supports BIOS flashback, you will need to start with a 12th gen CPU to update the BIOS. It supports DDR4 memory with 2 slots. The IO on the back is good, with the inclusion of DP and HDMI, USB 2 and 3 ports, and a gigabit ethernet port. On the board it does have 2 M.2 slots supporting PCIe 4.0, an x16 PCIe slot, and x1 PCIe slot. Maybe some sacrifices were made because it's an m-ATX board, but it feels like there could have been more on this board. I have seen other boards in this same range support better features like 4 channels for RAM, RGB headers, 2.5GbE LAN, or even DDR5. It feels like we are sacrificing features here, but not getting any return on a more cost effective board. If you are hunting for a board for a newer build, you are better suited looking elsewhere for a board that offers better and newer features. A B760 board can be had in the same range, and will be truly 13th gen ready. Read more
