I've also looked at necklaces meant for ashed. This vial looks air tight, which should be your main concern. Please keep in mind if you're planning to put your (or a partner's) blood in a vial you need to use a coagulant such as aspirin to keep it from breaking down. Bought this to store some sand from a tropical vacation. I used a plastic pipette to get it into the tiny opening. Seems like it will be airtight. The chain was bulkier than I wanted, but I easily swspped it out with a thinner one at home. Read more
