Runcati Men's Coat Double Breasted Trench Coat Long Lapel Business Jacket with Belt Like a few of the other reviewers, I was a little disappointed to find that when this coat arrived it was not made from a wool blend material as advertised. This is pretty misleading and a bit naughty in my opinion. The ad does still mention that this is a "wool pea coat", but it's not. Ok, what I did receive was a reasonably well made trench coat that's a bit on the thin side and very lightweight but has a decent Retro styling to it that I quite like. The materials used are actually Polyester and Cotton, which would account for the lack of thickness and weight had it been made from wool. It's of a pretty traditional styling for this type of coat.. mid thigh length, button up front, large belt, belt style cuff buttons, collar, double breasted lapels and buttoned epaulettes. There are 2 external pockets at the front but no inside pocket, which is a little disappointing. An inside pocket is always handy in a coat. Very reminiscent of what a certain squint eyed detective used to wear in the 1970's TV shoes. I chose a size L and it's quite a snug fit. I'd say I'm a smaller side of L so if you're a larger L then I'd say go for the XL. Being quite thin this coat won't keep you overly warm on a harsh winters day, but will certainly help keep the wind and a bit of chill at bay. If you like this style of trench coat then you can't go too far wrong here. It's nicely made and looks decent enough when wearing. The price reflects the materials used and I've only marked it down because of the misleading mentions of this being made from wool when it most certainly isn't. Read more
