I bought it out of curiosity, I watched several youtube videos, reddit blogs, looking for information and the opinions were mixed, but after a few weeks of testing it out with different games (old and new) I can 100% say that it is a great graphics card, it handles the majority of games on ultra settings, no bugs or errors have show up. I hope more people buy this card to put some pressure on AMD and Nvidia. My PC has a Ryzen 5 5600X processor, 32GB of ram at 3200Mhz, 2TB SSD and a 750W PSU if you guys need a reference. This card actually draws quite a bit of power, so it is necessary to have a 650W PSU or higher to avoid problems. I took the plunge buying this card after recently positive reviews, and I don’t regret the decision. The A770 is not just affordable with 16GB VRAM, but also feature rich. The build quality of this ROC SKU is good and comparable to something like a Powercolor Hellhound series. The cooling solution is sufficient to keep temps low. For context, the ambient temp in my room is about 27 degrees celcius, and under sustained 3D load in Horizon Zero Dawn, it’s about 61 degree celcius. There is no hotspot temp shown, so I can’t tell what is the hotspot temp. 2x 100mm fan solution is fairly quiet, and I can’t hear it over the CPU cooler fans on the DeepCool Assassin 3. Visually, there is a pulsing blue light on the Intel ARC wording at the top of the plastic fan shroud. If you don’t like it, I believe it can be disabled. The blue PCB is hidden from view, but the blue 2x 8pin power looks nice. In terms of stability, I have not experience any crashes after trying out for about 3 weeks now. The Intel GPU UI did freeze once after I installed Intel GPU driver, but it did not impact the card’s functionality. This freezing also only happened once. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Performance is not stellar by today’s standards, but the games I play are not demanding. I am also glad those teething issues at launch seem to be resolved. Between the RX 7600 XT, RTX 4060 and this A770, I think the A770 offers the best of both worlds at around the same price range. Read more

With the current drivers as of 10/11/2024, most games run very well for me on 1080p with the exception of some older games FFXIV dips to below 60fps in some areas. Managed to clock it at 2600MHz using ARC Control(your milage may vary). Works quite well in streaming and video rendering. Using this card paired with a 5700X 32GB of RAM. People expectations for this card are huge due to it's specification, but a real life shows that a GPU with core speed of 2300 and 16 GB and on a 256 rail should work great. Nothing like this! Every bench showed, that it is slow and not worth over 300 quid. The benchmarks showed that it is much slower than fantastic for its price rx6600. Couldn't launch x-plane 12 due to lack of Vulcan.
