This is a nicely refined backpack. I got the blue one and love the green interior. The outer shell seems very durable, yet it still has a nice feel to it. It is thick enough to keep its shape. Unlike other backpacks I have ordered, this one was not rolled up into a tiny ball for shipment, so it was not all wrinkled but instead looked nice and crisp out of the bag. I think this is a nice looking pack for men or women to use. It does have the double handle at the top, which I have seen on more women's bags than men's. But other than that it just has an understated style that looks nice and clean. I also really like the tone on tone minimal logo at the top. The only thing I don't like is the water bottle holders. They are pretty skinny, but also the trim at the opening is not elastic at all. So you will need to figure out which one of your bottles fits the space perfectly. Personally I have been using a collapseable silicone bottle. It is rectangular so at 20oz it is still flatter than a standard round bottle. The zippers are really smooth and the pulls feel nice because the have a plastic insert that just makes them easier to find and grab. The laptop sleeve is thoughtfully designed because it does not go all the way to the bottom of the bag. That way my laptop is protected and is not right on the ground when I set the bag down. While I certainly had high hopes when ordering this backpack (after all, Delsey is a SOLID producer of luggage and bags and Benetton has a long history in the fashion and design business), I was pleasantly surprised when the bag exceeded pretty much all my expectations. It's not perfect, but it's pretty close if you're looking for a lightweight but strong backpack that can carry a large amount of stuff. First off, the design is really nice - utilitarian and not flashy (particularly in the plain black that I have), but with a stylish almost pseudo military look. The design is quite useful too, with two large front zipped pockets, meant for small to medium sized items, two water bottle pouches (one on each side) and a cavernous main pocket that can easily swallow a 15.6" laptop along with books, notepads, a tablet or any other things you might need carry along with you. The padding for the laptop space is sufficient to protect your device and there are dividers and pockets to help with organization. The handle is well designed for carrying if you want to do that (vs using the straps) and there's a handy band on the back for going over the handle of a rolling suitcase so you can stack this on top of such a suitcase, making it easier when traveling. Second, the construction of the bag is top notch with a ripstop nylon material that is both lightweight and strong. The material is also somewhat water resistant though I wouldn't let it sit in the rain or take it underwater. The stitching seems to be well done and the handles are very secure. I do wish there was elastic on top of the water bottle holders instead of them being trimmed in a leather like material that doesn't offer any stretch (so you can fit normal sized water bottles and that's about it). So, all in all, this bag is even more than what I expected from both Delsey's top notch luggage background and United Colors of Benetton - and for those that don't recognize that name, Benetton was a top tier fashion has in the 80s and 90s that's fallen on harder times in the early portion of the 21st century. They still make great clothes - the issues seem to have been largely management related - so hopefully this bag is a sign that they're turning around.
