Scanning of the rooms was super quick. It took nothing. Minutes!! Mopping looks good so far. He reaches by far much better the edges and the corners as I thought. But yes it is true that he has big issues to reach properly the corners if there is bigger dirt, but he reaches them with problem. When there is slight debris, he will catch that. I personally thought he is not doing that at all, because of all the reviews I read and the videos I saw, but he is doing here a quite good job. On the other hand, he is doing on carpets a worse job as I thought he will do. We do not have much carpet and our carpet is short hair. He struggles to pick some kind of debris here. I would have thought for 1600,- he should be able to do that. My Roomba of 13-14 years is able so why not this model?? The Tower is so so much bigger than thought. You really must have space at Home for such a “Monster”. 😅 For me, that’s a BIG minus point too. I like it more Compact. I like to store device under benches etc NOT in de middle of somewhere but I will have no choice with this one and I really dislike that. The inside of the Tower is neath tidy good and compact. The self cleaning process is quick, as well as the cleaning of the device is quick and effortless. Once you leave him downstairs, he finds his base immediately by himself. It is pretty easy to personalise cleaning for each room in only hoovering or mopping and hoovering and also in telling him how you would like to have it done. More Water, less Water, more Power when hovering… quicker done in general, also when I think he is already very quick. It was quite a struggle to find out how to make it work on several floors with the Multi Map. You can see on the EUFY advertisement that this option exists and on EUFY’s Home Page and Eufy has also an explaination Video, which is barely not understandable unfortunately. I watched that Video 3 times. I couldn’t work out how to make it work. I did that exact steps described on the Video and my Robot did strange steps and movements, without cleaning. I thought maybe it’s me but another user from Hightech Platforms understood the steps to follow of this video like me. So I contacted the EUFY customer service by email and Chat. Both told me this option does not exist Yep, strange. They suggested to or carry the base up to each floor for each cleaning OR buying a S1 Pro for each floor or sending the Item back under warranty. 😅 I was devastated, as we choose this model because of the mopping, but also because he is able to do MultiMap Cleaning on several floors. I was about to sent it back after this Chat answer tbh. Lucky me, I found here the answer in a Forum of UK Users. Several found out how to make it work. Because it does work without any problem. And easily !! The Eufy Video didn’t made sense at all unfortunately. It is much less powerfull on Carpet as I thought it will be and especially for this price range. Been looking at a RobotVac for about 12mths, this one ticked all the boxes with great features and it looks smart and modern too. Had it 5 days and love its ease and schedules, daily hoover of hard wood floor and tiled kitchen is perfect. The mop feature is great and will be run twice a week, the mop cleaning and drying works brilliantly. Highly recommend. Read more

Gets 1 star for being able to vacuum and mop and a nice look. The rest are minuses: started to give errors from day one. For example, that mop is stuck. Then it started making mess when it was exchanging water. Both in the station and nearby. So you basically have to clean after the robot. Support is very average. They sent me troubleshooting to remove debris. No answer to where can debris come from in a 2 day old vacuum. Robot gets stuck thinking there’s obstacles around while it’s not surrounded by any. And to raise a proper support ticket you need to upload logs. While app states it takes 10-20 mins, it actually takes around 30+ during which robot cannot work and afterwards cannot resume the task. Even though they state that it’s plus is that it doesn’t have lidar above so it can get under your bed, somehow it can’t. I wanted to get rid of my older robot but had to keep it to mop under beds. I recently upgraded from my Roomba J9+ to the S1 Pro, and the difference is astonishing. After just one pass, the dirty water collected was proof of how effective it is, even though the Roomba had mopped the floor the day before with a clean pad. The S1 Pro clearly outperforms the Roomba, which often had issues with brush housing clogs and navigation. This is my fourth robot vacuum, all previous ones being Roombas, and I can confidently say I won’t be going back. The mop roller even cleans itself during use, requiring almost no maintenance. If you are on the fence about buying this little miracle robot, don’t be. Just buy it! It’s mopping is very good and deep, uses the perfect amount of water that it doesn’t soak the floor but you can see it is damp. Suction is great for the vac and its mapping and obstacle avoidance are brilliant! The mopping and vacuuming are as good as you would expect/hope from a robot of this price. If you live a busy life it keeps on top of everything and then maybe once a month you do a manual clean of the house, move the chairs etc. Dogs seem non fussed by it to the point of freaking me out as it starts to hoover towards their tails but the robot always sees them and goes round them, since they seldom seem to move out its way. All the removable parts are well constructed .. The maintenance schedules for each part are all in the app with good documentation and video on how to do any little task needing done on it to keep it running well. like cleaning a filter. The app works 95% of the time..sometimes there is a loss of connectivity to the cloud and you have to refresh it to get it back The alexa connectivity is a bit basic, you can tell it to start cleaning or stop cleaning but you can't say something like "clean the kitchen"..you have to go into the app, select room clean , pick a room and then you could tell it to start via Alexa which is pretty pointless since you are already in the app. I bought a 2nd one for my mum is in her late 80s and housebound. The water reservoirs etc are all good enough that I can leave it running and then come back and clean it , refill it etc when I go to visit. I have had both of them running now for months and the only issue has been my teenagers headphone cable left drooping down that it sometimes doesn't see and gets wrapped round and the odd rogue laptop power supply cable. Once I found it working away minus its magnetic top which I then found under a radiator so it must have got stuck and pulled itself free leaving its lid behind. The no go area mapping seems pretty good to keep it away from problem areas. Fingers crossed it lasts long enough to have been worth the outlay. If it does, its been a great purchase. Read more
