My 7 year old has been wanting to play volleyball. She has a full size beach volleyball but it is heavy and stings so much when it hits your arms. A friend recommend this volleyball and it is perfect for her! It is very soft and doesn’t hurt at all to bump. It is very bouncy and light weight, great for kids but takes some getting used to because a little bump can send it flying. If you’re using it outside, it will get leaves and debris stuck to it since it’s a cloth covering but it’s easy to brush off and hasn’t really bothered us. The kids love this soft volleyball! so much that i bought two! the outter cover is material and soft. The inner most part is an actual ball that bounces and acts like a regular volleyball. It needs to be inflated so make sure you have a pump. Read more

If you're here looking, you were in the same boat I am... CONSTANT thuds against the wall while our athletes practice at home. This brought the noise down SO much and allowed more practice time indoors before absolutely losing my mind from the repetitive sounds, lol. Bought this for my 10 year old after her first season of volleyball and she plays with it constantly. I feel a little better about it being hit against my walls/floors because it is soft with a non-marking fabric exterior. The weight is heavier than a Volleylite and really close to the weight of a normal volleyball but has a dense soft exterior to prevent damage on drywall. I would assume if she really smacked it hard against the wall we’d see some damage but so far so good! We recommend! Read more
