It was a very straight forward to set up. It functions great out of the box. All I had to do was plug-in and set up. I did hear concerns of the unit getting hot, but they must have addressed it, as I was able to remove it without scorching my hand, it was warm, which was expected. The size is extremely compact, love that it’s portable. It’s powered directly through USB, so no need of charger or cord. The UI for the application is simple and straight forward, make sure you scan the QR code and follow the instructions. It was very easy to set up in its default mode. There is a learning curve to use all the functions on the website, and I am still finding them out. My laptop sees it well, and if only I could find how to make my Apple TV see it as well I would be in heaven. I will keep learning I suppose. Also great for extending wifi range, sharing mobile hotspot (and bypassing speed limits), and more.
